WOW!!! I only have one question. WHY??? It's a miracle you and boomer weren't injured. It was a definite relief knowing that you and your buddy survived. Hurricanes are not to be messed with. We were in a Category 1 (Isabelle 2003) and we were without power and landlines for 8 days! We'll never ride one out again! Your next camping adventure will be like a walk in the park. Stay safe!

Great footage. Really interesting and cool. As a fairly regular viewer I have to say though that putting your own life in danger is one thing but putting the dogs life in danger is another. @@mildredmorine745 At what point did @Jose rocha state Boomer wasn't taken care of? He didn't and if you want to get technical, Boomer would've received better care at home or a safe enclosed environment with his other humans. The comment was addressing the obvious, "poor lil guy looked so scared." That's 100% true bc Boomer shouldn't have been there anyway. Wet, mosquitos, high winds + shivering while his human drinks a hot beverage, and food doesn't seem like a fun time for any creature. As a Floridian and former reservest this was unneccessarily insane. Risking his own life is his choice, but leave the dog out of this foolishness. Post the time stamp that showed how excited Boomer was to be there.

Living in North West Australia, I have lived through my fair share of cyclone's. And I know I wouldn't have be brave enough to try and camp through one. I am glad you and your little mate made it out safely.

That was absolutely insane! Glad you and Boomer are safe! Live from Cape Breton Island where hurricane Fiona is making landfall. Our reporter on ground is reporting hurricane force winds and 25’ waves with trees falling all around and all he could say was wow, I’m living my best life! 😂 Absolutely the best episode ever! Not sure you will be able to top that! I’m going to have to say coming from someone who grew up in Oklahoma were we were always chasing Tornados and I must say you did good my friend! Stay safe and looking forward to more videos to come!

Glad you & Boomer got thru safely. I was caught in post-tropical storm Elsa in early July 2021 in Fundy Nat'l Park. Elsa was pretty much a rainfall event (50 to 80 mm) by the time she arrived at Bay of Fundy but still packed winds of 50-90 kph. On my 15 km hike out, I didn't have to deal with any downed trees but steady rain & wind. Fortunately, a bag of dry clothes awaited me when I reached my vehicle.

Most campers fear blowing wind and deadfall trees. Lonewolf 902 senses a storm, sees the weather report, loads up the backpack and takes a hammock for shelter. Rides out a hurricane! BravO! LoL... You're harder core!

I live in Florida where hurricanes are a way of life. You are a true maniac for riding out that storm in between huge trees! However, I love your adventures and always learn something new. Still a camper as a 74 year old grannie BUT NEVER DURING A HURRICANE! Yep, a true maniac! I’m in love with your little pup. He is very tolerant of your craziness and a real trooper! Again, thank you for your bravery or nuttiness. Great footage!

This is to Boomer. Hi Boomer, my sister and I just watched the video where you took your daddy camping in the hurricane. My name is Mocha (daddy calls me Baby and Tummy), and my sister is Tiny because she is so small. We are mini dachshunds. You were so brave to take your daddy camping when you knew it could be dangerous. We loved how you trained him to set things up so you both would be safe. It is good for a father and son to go camping together. We will be watching for more of your amazing adventures. Be safe, be warm and dry. Hugs from Mocha and Tiny
