Awsome video. Finally someone who shares the storm while in the tent. Most turn off the camera once they get in they're tent. I think they miss sharing the best part of the camping experience. Good job.

Sorry I've been gone for so long! If you didn't see the last video, my transmission went out while filming a stealth camp. It was an old Honda Accord, so I ended up financing a Subaru Outback. So far I love it. Thanks for watching!

When my grandson turned 13 l bought him a little tent. On our first night camping we had a huge storm and in the morning he said he loved it! He enjoyed being snuggled in his comfy camp bed and when he opened the tent flap there was a koala directly overhead. All positive , so he is a camping convert. He also impressed his mates on a school camp, being the only kid who knew how to erect and dismantle a tent. Such a morale booster

I was bored here in central England watching the rain hammering down outside my house, so I decided to catch a few videos here on KZfaq, and I stumbled upon this one more by accident than design. 45 minutes later and you have yourself a new subscriber! If it hadn’t rained here today, I most probably wouldn’t have discovered your channel, which just goes to prove that the rain can have positive benefits too!

To be honest that wasn't a vicious storm. When you have to run the tarp over the seats of the picnic table, stake it out and crawl under the tarp because the winds exceed 50 mph... and the rain is coming down sideways in sheets... then you have a storm. And even in a storm you NEVER hang your garbage next to the tent!! Critters aren't afraid of rain and they are always looking for a nice meal.. I did like your use of the Prussiks which held well. Anyhoo thx for the nice video. Love those burgers!

Definitely add the gear reviews! But there's a catch: review the stuff us poor folks can afford. I would love to see a review of a harbor freight tarp, or a Coleman stove, or any other camping item that you are happy with. In all of your adventures I like knowing what works and what doesn't. Also your video gear. Like that tripod.

first off i use a large silver waterproof tarp, my tent is 9x13 , tarp is 12x20 silver tarp. i learned to use only the silver brand tarps, , they are heavy weight , but you will stay dry,. a word of caution, most tent are in different sizes and shapes, but i have done some studies on tents and found out that the only tent to buy is a double sewn bottom with a a basement bottom. the tents you will notice are a dark color or black bottom, comparted to the color of the tent. i bought a reylon tent, 8 person for the 4 of us and used it 4 times without it ever leaking, with or without the silver tarp.
