Camping on our Ranch outside St Johns, AZ

We spent 3 days on our ranch and got some video footage and some drone footage.
Just wanted to share the fun we had. The last part of the video we drove through near by St Johns which is the closest thing to civilization near us about an hour away!

I honestly haven't heard anything about coyotes. I hear more about them in the valley.

As far as water you can either drill a well or have water delivered in from town.

Did u hear Apache Co is holding a meeting on the 6th about limiting living on your land in a rural area in a camper or tiny home.. etc for more than 30 days illegal?

@@user-uy3eq5hg1s From what I understand it was quashed or tabled for 5 years.. it's way to many people who live off the grid in apache co. So many would be displaced.. Our neighbors are a good source of information for me on this.. they been living on the ranch for the last 3 or 4 years

It's been pretty bad up there.. we was gonna stop in a cpl weeks ago but was advised roads were too bad for the truck.. we will be up there for a cpl weeks in December

Last August I got stuck in 2 ft of mud right near the school bus, right before the wash crossing. Looking forward to camping in a couple of weeks hopefully the roads are good.

@@jg1503 were here for the monsoon season and yup...the wash by the bus is terrible. Also right before the cattle gate before you go up the mountain. The rain is supposed to slow up the coming week. My husband is able to drive through the washes in the dually but he's been taking woodland valley...he doesn't wanna keep pressing his luck...lol I hope the POA can get to clearing up the really bad spots soon.1

Thanks man.. we probably won't drill.. just go with a 10,000 gallon in ground water storage system and have water delivered.. accompanied by a 5000 gallon rain water catchment system.. other wells around the ranch has hit between 175 feet some as deep as 300

Appreciate the love! In all honesty we love it.. the only dislike is we don't live there full time yet! Be sure to take a few things into consideration though. These properties are out there! Closest medical facility like 2 1/2 hours, most of the properties are off the grid. Many people are selling because they thought they could hack off Grid living. So keep those things in mind!

@@mymansawyer yeah we got offered something in GBar but it's was too close to the highway for us.. a lot of people in SHR is selling.. it's so off the grid people got stuck on the ranch after record rains and was not prepared.. same thing when it snows.. it's easy to get stuck up there for a week or more.. people didn't take things like that into consideration before purchasing

HI Guys, I want to know more and your exact location. I purchased 120 acres three years ago near St. Johns. I was out there twice and the only way to access my property was from I-80 through a dry river bed. I have not constructed an easement yet for direct access. Your location and the free range cows are the same welcoming committee I received. It was funny too. I want to know more about this.

Also, what I find interesting is I have at least 2-3 investors reaching out to me wanting to buy my land for a measly 16-20K. When I go onto the adjacent parcels, they are selling for 1.5 milllion, what is going on there. OF COURSE, I'M NEVER GOING TO SELL, this only tells me I must be sitting on a gold mine. I just find it ironic that I keep getting soliticers wanting to buy my specific property.
