We caught up with Australian off road and KZfaq personality Mr Ronny Dahl to film a modified episode on GrizzlyNbear and camp together.
This was a great honour to be invited on Modified and we're super excited to see the final video that Ronny and his crew put together.
We spent the day filming on a beach north of Perth city then enjoyed a great evening camping, cooking up Korean barbecue and sharing stories.
We hope you like this behind the scenes of the Modified episode and also seeing Ronny in action round the camp.
Ronny is an awesome bloke and we look forward to more adventures together with him during our time in Australia.

Toyota has a modem style , Defender is a kind out of style in Germany too. Technically is Defender old iron.

So cool I enjoyed this! It shows Ronny it a really great person that enjoys what he is doing. I also like his trips where he takes his kids on a weekend drive. What RAL color is your defender? I want to get rid of the army color of my cab. And Im thinking about a green like yours,

At 7m:15. Never ever put your finger on top of the wood when chopping. There’s nowhere for the hand to go if you fuck up. Regardless of gloves. Always, always hold the side. Years and i mean years of knocking in setting out pegs for living taught me this from an early age.

Ronnie has a youtube channel about (and called) 4wheeling Australia. He has videos of trips in the Australian outback, and he also does videos showcasing people's rigs, that he calls "Modifieds", as they focus on the modifications the people have made, to adapt their vehicles to suit their purpose. I especially enjoy his travel videos, usually done as a series, on all the great tracks. Highy recommend his channel, especially "pre-covid".

From what Ive read elsewhere you can’t register a LHD in Australia but you can drive one registered in another country on a temporary basis. Some countries won’t allow any RHD in at all, even vehicles passing though, but currently no countries ban LHD from travelling through.

Did you guys happen to meet up with Andrew St Pierre White while you were in Perth? The guy is pretty-much the "godfather of overlanding" and I'm pretty sure he'd be in awe of your travels. Only "problem" might be that swapping travel stories with ASPW would end up being an 8-hour long video. :-D

Sorry to say: This episode is trivial and banal. No interesting or relevant content, just a gap-filler with a bit of this and a bit of that. You are capable to produce videos in better quality (I mean: with a better level of relevant information). Un peu plus de niveau, s'il-vous-plaìt!
