Agriculture is a consistently debated topic among policymakers and the general public due to its immense potential. As the largest sector, it employs a significant portion of the population and contributes approximately 22.9% to the GDP. However, in terms of productivity, we fall far behind global standards. This raises an important question: given the current status and numerous regulatory constraints in the agricultural markets, can Pakistan's future truly be linked to agriculture?

Sir if the supply is enhanced by the mentioned method, how will be consumed the commodities? 2ndly the market value of the oil seeds are very low as compared to other crops, how can be the farmers be fully relying on these crops because there are no incentives or any specific benefits. Kindly enlighten the aspects and pursue the government officials too in such seminars that they learn and implement the policies. The govt officials are mostly unaware and untrained in this regard

Sir, Today my elders was saying why we will produce wheat we will produce, tabbaco, 😂 why they are saying we produce tabbaco it gave us 1 to 2 lac Net profit in 4 months. So, Tabbaco or any other crop will contribute in GDP another discussion but, again the wheat will be short price will be rise and poor man will be suffer.
