Can Am Flex Plow - Over the Racks, Plowing with Tracked Quad

Putting the Quad to the test plowing ~4 feet of snow, after a blizzard.
After the second blizzard in two weeks I had a four foot drift in the driveway. I put the Can Am Outlander Max 800, on Apache 360 tracks, with the Alpine Flex plow to the test.

I use the flex plow with drift cutters on it. Works like a charm. Tried brother in laws steel blade on a Honda with tires and didn’t like it. Couldn’t pile snow. Bought an outlander and put tracks on for winter and love it.

I have a 60" flex plow too but run the side extensions and drift cutters. Moves a ton of snow and the Only way to go. I'd take the flex plow anyday over the steel.

Jealous? All I can say is that it's been clearing my driveway for over 10 years now with zero issues. Not too bad for a "Kids Plow".

I have tracks on my 1000, the one thing i hate about em is that my fuel consumption practically doubled. Shouldve seen it coming with the reduction from the tracks

how did the plow preform in the deep snow and would you still pick this plow over the steel straight plows that brp sell.

+harbinjennifer24 The plow performs well in deep snow. It does rise up in the heavy snow and you have to make multiple passes. I have not used the steel plow but have seen it in use and I would definitely still choose the Flex Plow over the steel one.

Why not just put a plow on the pickup truck would be a lot cheaper and quicker?

trucks cant get into the sidewalks and tighter spaces

@@cjw.6310 truck wouldn't have made that much of a difference. Supposed to plow every 4 to 5 inches and not wait till it accumulates that much. Even truck would have had some difficulty with that much snow.

@@dwightschuette8960 It would have made a huge difference, I plow the local hospital parking lots during the winter and using a v plow would make this simple, take 1/3rd of the time AND save well over 15k on that pointless underweight machine with tracks.
