Make sure that the plastic lock is in the sleeve before you mount the seat. If the button was pushed down prior it will expand at the end of the sleeve and will then not slide down into the mount as it will get wedged between. A good jerk like he did but make sure the plastic lock is up and in sleeve first. And yes that first bar is a PITA.

That wasn't that bad.small bolts and tight working quarters.

I mean I understand the bracket is difficult to get installed but there's absolutely no instruction regarding that part 🤦🏽‍♂️
