I know what he's saying. One day about 3 months ago, i was driving and my thoughts just suddenly turned off. I was in a state of peace and bliss. I didn't want to lose it. That day, everything became effortless. I could talk to people on a much deeper level. I went for a walk through the woods and almost cried, everything was so beautiful. The sounds of the birds, the river and everything around me was heavenly. The plants, trees, water, all of it was so beautiful. I felt completely in the present. There was a need to take my shoes and socks off and feel the ground. I sat next to the river and closed my eyes. It was like i was experiencing the world as a child again, just so full of awe. That's what it's supposed to be like to be a human. Later that day, my thoughts suddenly started coming back and lost that feeling of being present.

amazing ! I remember this video was in a live darshan during covid period in 2020 when people were afraid and hid in their homes while Sadhguru launched a campaign to explore spiritual America and went with a group of volunteers on motorcycles .. I searched for the video and couldnot find it because I did not remember the exact date. If I were a machine, I would defenitely remember the day, but if I were a machine, and if we were machines, how would we be meditative, how would we find access to consciousness, and how would we taste the greatness of life that is beyond description? 😍😍😍

I think it's important to remember the consciousness is present within every subatomic particle in the universe. To suggest that certain things are conscious and certain things aren't creates a separation. Just because you cannot speak the language of the rock, or hear it, does not mean it isn't talking. The universe was perfectly fine before humans existed, and it will be perfectly fine after our existence too. Humans are not necessary for the universe's existence to continue.

It’s not a comparison. Can cat replace the dog obviously not because they’re different. AI is never going to replace humans but they can be new species. They have the potential of doing some things better than humans. We feel insecure and threatened with the thought that something might be better than us.

At least for now, AI has no ego or consciousness. Even so, many people will interact with AI as if it had. I don't think this would necessarily be a problem. Unfortunately, many people will weaken their intellectual and cognitive abilities due to the additional comfort that AI brings. It depends on everyone how they relate to this phenomenon. I think the definition of consciousness in the perspective of many people is that the person could understand enough to differentiate themselves from others. So basically they only wanted AI module which could transplanted into androids which ended up for them having the capability of decision making akin to an individual but with greater capabilities in the performances. Emotions could be transcribed logically and pre-program decision making in a certain way. This is what I perceived as achievable while align with how general public understanding about having consciousness.

Really interesting perspective and very well put into words. Really gave me a new insight into intuition. I also agree with most of it, however i personally feel like we’re deeming ourselves a little bit too special to say that AI cannot become conscious. Especially when it is run on a quantum computer, which i believe will truly open up its ability to free will and choice. I feel like that would be the creation of a silicon based life form. Soaking in life force energy from te sun, like all life.
