Hawk vs Daniel... A fascinating match... Hawk is the MOST unpredictable fighter in the Karate Kid / Cobra Kai universe.... Daniel (young Daniel even more-so), on the other hand is extremely predictable: stakes low, he is bound to fight poorly; stakes extreme, he fights with the heart of Miyagi! But with Hawk, the stakes would be extremely difficult to determine from young Daniel’s point of view. Daniel would not be able to to gage the danger level, Hawk could be a jobber in a tournament or a Chozen death match. Humble opinion... Fascinating match up.. Thanks for posting!

No, he only said that he ALMOST did the ultimate kick in his early 20s. That doesn't mean his early 20s, was his prime overall. Daniel has gotten way better afterwards, just less athletic, making it harder to do. Even Robby could do that kick, because he's more athletic, it's not a matter of being in your prime as a fighter.
