Whenever I try to dress too “traditionally feminine”, like in a really feminine wrap dress or something with a lot of gathers and frills and heels, I always feel slightly off- like I’m trying too hard or look like I’m playing dress up in someone else’s clothes. 😂 I definitely feel at my most sexy/sensual/feminine/womanly etc in more straight and/or tomboyish silhouettes. Give me a nice pair of jeans or trousers and a crop top any day! I’ve said it before- I’ve loved seeing your journey towards honoring and making peace with your body and defining what that looks like for you, so I’d love a video about how your relationship with femininity now vs then. Also- that camisole is stunning! 😍

I feel very feminine wearing wrap dresses and frilly, gathered things but tomboyish outfits just make me feel like a chubby boy. So funny how different clothes feel on different people. And I'm pretty sure I'm a gamine too.

@@linibellini you might be a soft gamine! They can still pull off more “feminine” pieces because of the “softer flesh” aspect, but still have a gamine bone structure.

Hey! I was thinking about this video as well as your reaction video about femininity and as a smol pointy babe I really resonated with your struggle of trying to perform conservative femininity and then feeling weird in SC fits. I love how you’ve come into yourself wearing outfits that express your identity. I actually have a very romantic/girly personality and don’t really know how to present that as an FG. I look off in yin fits and feel off in some of the more masculine things I can physically pull off. I’d love to see more on how yang girls can pull more from yin lines and make it work for ourselves. I’m tired of feeling like a praying mantis in a dress

I feel you. As a DC I don’t feel very femine though my body is curvy. But I always had a feeling that dressing for curves felt wrong. I like more relaxed styles. When I was young I was always told to cover my booty 🙄 as if anything was wrong with it.

Looove these outfits! I’m back to wondering if I may be a soft gamine instead of flamboyant and that makes me sad because I love these kinds of longer line looks. They say an underweight SG can look like a FG which is why I’m so confused. It definitely challenges the old ED mindset I’m still trying to break away from.

I feel like a weird FG and I need ya’lls support 😂 Does somebody want to discuss a thing or two about FG’s on the taller side? I’m not petite at all. I’m 170 like Audrey Hepburn, but I’m also a little wider and ’bigger’ than most other gamines I’ve seen. You’re all so very small and petite and delicate, but I’m a little different. Well, I’m slim and I have all the attributes for an FG, but my dads genes 🧬 have given me a larger rib cage than most other FG’s, wider shoulders than other gamines, wider hands and fingers, even my knee joints and ancles are wider than most other gamines. When I look at Frani I see all of my own attributes, but I’m bigger everywhere. Wider shoulders, face, hands, nose, hips, knees, feet, ancles. Basically, my size is not petite, my size is ”average”. But I guess if you shrunk me about 5-10% I’d be more textbook gaminish. I’m just a little sized up. This means I’m quite uncomfortable in very yang styling, because my body is already a little boyish or even manly, maybe even more so than most fg’s, and so I tend to look for more yin-inspired pieces OR a super girly hair style while still staying within the FG appropriate lines. It seems that most FG’s can dress quite yang and still look delicate, but when I do the same, I almost get gender dysphoria because I feel like I start to go into the uncanney valley, almost looking like a boy altogether. Don’t get me wrong, I think the FG andogynous features look extremely cool - it’s just that I think I look too convincing 😂 Does anyone else have this problem?
