That's why Tank Stan's want Inoue v Tank. They can then say he beat a 4 division 2x Undisputed championship without any mention of how he started at like 108!

Wow, common denominator really is Oscar. Floyd became a star after Oscar, Pac star after Oscar, Canelo star under Oscar, Ryan star under Oscar 🤯

Mr BDA, I haven't listened to the full show yet, but in response to the title 'Can Gervonta "Tank" Davis Carry American Boxing?' let me give you some insight from a foreign boxing fan. I'm from the UK, and I can assure you NO ONE here outside of hardcore boxing fans has a clue who Tank Davis is. No one. They know Canelo, they know AJ & Fury, they've heard of GGG and Usyk and Pacquaio, but they probably couldn't name a current US fighter if you put a gun to their head. From the outside looking in, it's laughable and embarrassing when we see American fans claiming Tank is the face of boxing - he's fought no-one, never travels abroad to fight (unlike Usyk, Loma, AJ, GGG), and does more in 10 minutes on Twitter than he's done in 10 years inside the ring. Those fans make the US a laughing stock IMO; they're absolutely clueless. If you want fame and legacy it's actually really simple; FIGHT THE BEST. That's it. Measure yourself as a MAN against the best competition you can, regardless of the venue, the purse, the promoter, and the money and fame will follow - not the other way round! Honestly like I already said, it's just embarrassing to see grown men arguing on Twitter and their adult groupies all joining in, and yet they'll never actually take on a real challenge unless there's 51684062 contract clauses handicapping the other guy.

That's the important point; he hasn't beaten any of the top 3 guys in the divisions he's been in

Nah bro,Paro could do whatever he wants, but he won’t be able to stand Matias for 12. It’ll probably take someone with more abilities, especially with a nice chin/power. Regarding that Matias loss though, leading up to the fight Matias was battling depression(due to the Dadashev incident),and had issues at home. It was a 10 round fight that went to the cards, including a questionable standing 8 count that Matias received. I really don’t like Matias’ willingness to get hit though. All that being said,I may be wrong, but I don’t think Paro can pull it off

Pete has never gotten over the GGG loss.

GGG is undefeated, and you know it. Gennady threw Canelo a bone in 3rd fight, kinda like here ya go buddy, this one is on me.

@@G35149 You have it backwards. The only 'bone' that was thrown was from carrottop to ggg. As ggg's entire career was based on fighting carrottop. That coward spent his entire career (16 whole years) fighting nobody after nobody and never had the balls to go up even ONE weight class. Just sitting back, taking no chances and waiting for those big paydays. And even with all that, he had to rob derevyanchenko along the way.

@joelastre4864 I wholeheartedly disagree. GGG was the most avoided fighter in his prime. A natural 160-pounder fighting in his most comfortable weight class is OK with me. To dominate one division for years is just as impressive to me as moving up multiple weight classes. Besides nowadays, most guys that jump around usually take the easiest matchups to pad their accolades.

@@G35149 Dominating the division, beating a bunch of nobodies. That's why he was always a HUGE favorite for all of his fights. And you can disagree with me all you want. But the numbers are right there for you to see in the vegas odds. HERE ARE THE FACTS: Aside from the fights with canelo, ggg was ON AVERAGE, a HUGE -2500 favorite on his fights. And if you don't know what this means, to put this in perspective, canelo was only a -650 favorite against amir khan. And look at what he did to amir khan. Now imagine putting canelo in there against guys where he is a -2500 favorite. If you don't believe me, just look up 'GENNADY GOLOVKIN CAREER ODDS HISTORY' on oddsshark. And then look up canelo's odds history. It will be all right there in front of you. The facts are undeniable. GGG only wanted to fight certain guys who had large fanbases and name recognition. And guys who were expected to be easy wins, for easy paydays. And if these guys didn't want to fight him, he would play the victim card and claim he was 'avoided'. But the truth is that he was a conman. This is why he never moved up to fight froch, ward, kovalev or stevenson.

Tank has never fought a top guy at 135, a division he is fighting in since years. Lopez was there, Haney was there, Loma is there, Shakur is there, and he fought none of these guys.
