Wrapping the house on a windy day had to be double hard. That is not an epic fail, it is just a "not done yet". The solution looks like deliberate design. You are an artist❤

Make sure those boards are not touching the ground. They will rot otherwise. Love the videos.

Seen those who cut the boards at an angle on the lower end so rainwater drips of quicker instead of staying on and make the boards rot faster.

Yes, agree. Would be great to install some sort of stone layer above the ground between it and the wooden panels. It looks really nice overall 👍

Looks great. I highly recommend that the bottom of the wood does not touch earth on all sides. Termites will find a way.

I agree that the boards shouldn't touch the ground, to prevent rot. Fortunately we don't have termites in Belgium, so that's one less worry for them

There are no termites in Belgium. However, you are right that the boards should not touch the ground. It would cause rot. Ah I see my comment was unnecessary 😅

I like the idea around the windows and door. It adds character and definition to that area. Illia I never doubt that you're going to come through with a solution. Sometimes you just have to step back from the project and sleep on it. I think you did a great job. Wishing all of you the best

The fix over and under the windows and the over the door is perfect! It is consistent and looks like a feature - very intentional. Great save! Wondering - you don't need to seal or protect the wood since it was pretreated? Correct?

It looks awesome a beautifully created studio apartment.. with the side where concrete slab is put a sm table and two chairs 😊 .. never ending Illia but the boards should have gone sideways overlaping each one from bottom to top , this then will help keep the rain out, rather than up and down, around the bottom use bricks so wood does not touch bottom dirt so termites don't c😮ome in 😮
