Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This KZfaq channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

It's strange...growing up playing competitive junior golf, the REALLY good guys off scratch or better were always pretty humble and nice and friendly. I agree Will. I also think what is hurting him is his 100% draw swing. I have played that way for last 8-10 yrs and took lessons this yr to get away from it. While the draw will definately give you better distance, when it gets bad its super easy to over cook the draw and control shots and you can see it in ALL Ricks videos. I was doing the exact same things Rick is doing. Its actually crazy to watch as i feel im watching myself last yr. After just 5 rounds im seeing the fruits of a change, starting to pin seek quite a bit, much more fun. Now my missess bounce a couple yards forward instead of 20,30,40 yrs left.

The putting from off the green is also still a huge issue though - not sure why Rick isn’t fixing that - 4th shot from off the green on hole one is surely never a putt, uphill massive slider - just chip it up there and take away loads of the break and at least get it close to the hole..

Another quality video Rick... and Frank looks like a baller...love his mentality he takes into every shot. Also think a great episode of this series would be if you started on -10 and went head to head with someone where you are the favourite. Would be cool to see if it changed your mind set on how to play the round!

One thing that strikes me about younger guys playing at the level of Frank is the humility. For so many other sports, players that are that good that young can have such an arrogance about them, but golf is such a punishing game no matter how good you are that it's very very rare to find someone with that arrogance.

Awesome video, as usual. Rick's game is all over the place at the minute though. I genuinely think that me, and my 7 handicap, could currently give him a good match. Actually, saying that, probably not: I'd fold under the pressure of the cameras and the 5 people watching me. Chin up though, Rick, I'm sure you'll find your best stuff again soon.

Ricks got a decent amount of talent. And technically is actually pretty good. Not sure what’s going on this year (he was playing much better last year and looked a proper golfer) imagine he was playing Pete as much as he did back in the day, he would get slaughtered. I’m a 1 handicapper at my club and I would play Rick for any amount of money at this current moment.

@@kyelritcherd8491 We all go through ups and downs, it's the nature of the sport, but Rick's down is pretty severe at the minute. He's clearly overthinking it and seems to have lost all confidence from 100 yards and in. He needs to get out of his head and just start enjoying it again. Because, as you said, it doesn't look like a big technical issue. He'll be back.
