Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This KZfaq channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

It’s always so interesting to me when I watch these kind of videos of pros or content creators playing with your pros and seeing the comments of how humble and great the your pros are. Like they aren’t regular humans like the rest of us that are just really good at golf, make loads of money doing it and take advantage of things like caddies and other creature comforts while on your that they have. Most of them started playing golf like the rest of us, carrying their own bags, holding their own umbrellas, being nice respectful people. What you see on TV doesn’t define these players as a person.

What I really liked about this particular video was the willingness of both golfers to explain their shot situation and how they planned to approach it. It really helps to see and hear the pro’s thought process. Case in point would be Adam’s 6-iron chip from 120 yards which included a replay after the shot to reinforce how much (or how little) swing was actually used. Hole 13 is a classic. Love Adam, very genuine Aussie bloke. That photo of him in the rain at the Masters with the green jacket would have to be my favourite golf photo of all time.

Adam Scott - what a wonderful human being. You guys were great to watch and loved hearing you say Rick that the other pros made you nervous but Adam put you at ease and you really enjoyed it! That’s what golf should be… fantastic stuff!

Great watch Rick. What a great guy Adam is! Shame you had such a rough start, but the back-nine was relatively close. These videos are really enjoyable.

I met Adam one time. I worked in the Pro Shop at the Hyatt Regency Coolum and had the Australian PGA there. Adam and Geoff Ogilvy came to check in for their practice round. Adam asked if they could take a cart, I said sorry unfortunately we don't allow carts for anyone at this time cause of the event trying to keep the course in immaculate condition. Adam was cool with that no complaints.. Geoff on the other hand, wow, what a tantrum. Got the old, 'do you know who I am?!' I'm like, yes I do Mr Ogilvy, no carts even for yourself.. then I had to get my manager to deal with him. And cause the water works intensified, he got his cart. Prick. Adam though, gentleman 👍 Pretty sure that was the year Geoff missed a 6 footer for the win. Came marching in the players change rooms carrying his own bag. I'm thinking that's weird. I'm standing outside the entrance and I hear Geoff throw his bag into the drinks fridge 😂 Everyone outside getting autographs from other players heard it all 😂 😂😂

4:41 reminds me of a story about Bruce Crampton, another good legend from Australia. After hitting a beautiful putt that almost went in, someone said "good roll" to Crampton. His retort was "Good rolls are at the bakery. Good putts go in." Classic line. Anyways ... wonderful video. Adam Scott is a great guy. Kingsbarns is magic. And Rick melds it all together very nicely.

One of the best videos I’ve watched in ages. Two of the most competitive guys going. The dynamic you two have is great. Total sarcasm from Lee, all golf sportsmanship out the window, brilliant.

I went to see the video with Lee because of this comment. It's true that Lee tries to get on Rick's head with mind games, but he's a competitive guy and was 10 under, when he got the game leveled he stopped and was actually giving good advice. But sure Adam was a good friendly guy from 1st to 18th. Enjoyed both.
