Hello Travellers Today were tackling Dark souls 3 With only a Scythe. This video was alot of fun to do and was voted on by you guys So if you enjoyed maybe vote for the next one in the community tab!

And I also had Grass Crest shield on the entire time
Music was by Nintendo, Fromsoftwear, Arc System Works and Christopher Larkin!

To be fair, i dont think Death would really give a whole ass crap about kill-enating one guy with a sword and not a scythe. Death strikes me as a "whatever i have lying around" type of dude. Homie would murk a mf with a broken piece of glass if he had to. Scythe for death is mostly just a vibes thing. Run Saved! You're welcome.

I believe so to, but I feel like it would only capture/reap their souls. But Death would definitely just not care about what they use but I just wouldn't work. I also hadn't thought it through very much. i just wanted to use a funny weapon ;)

Thank you! I think the reason I knew how to beat Midir so easily was probably from fighting all the dragons in Elden ring! And I have fought gale before.

ok so a few things you obviously might have missed cause i can tell your time in these games has been limited or your time coming back to them is, either one. First, there are bleed enemies but there are so few that i cannot blame anyone for forgetting them especially if you run past enemies like you did here, 1 are the grave warden ladies with twin blades and 2 are the fat ladies with the spiked mace.. i am pretty sure thats it. Next thing is Yhorm, lemme keep this short, fight him with either sorcery or lightning and the fight is 10 times more fun cause you make openings to hit his head then crit him when he falls down like any physical build can but the magic makes the fight so much more fun even with pyromancy where you can easily get him to stagger with black fire orb since dark damage has ALWAYS done more posture dmg than ALL other magic schools usually do. Lastly is the midir fight, the reason you did so well is cause you stayed close to his head as much as possible and even so you got lucky that he did not fly away back to back JUST to get far enough away from you to do that and with how low absorbtion your build was.. most likely you would have been one shot by ANY of the dark magic lasers. Last thing is a minor nit pick but you NEVER used magic for the them of the build but only as a tool to bypass enemies you were not confident in facing or did not wanna waste time dealing with, skipping those might have taken some entertainment out of this run, thats a 50% chance. Other than those things all and all it was a fun video and i hope to see you make more.

Thanks for the advice! This is my 7-8 (i cant remember) time through the game, and second time through both DLC's. I do believe the Saw wielder in the undead settlement also do bleed. For Yhorm I opted out of using magic for the build because, I don't love magic and prefer melee. This run also started as a scythe only run, but I thought it would look better as a "Death" run. Also for Midir I treated it kind of like Fortissax and Placidusax combined, and I just assumed i would be one shot by any magic or non bite or claw attack. If I were to do a run like this in the future for Elden ring I would definitely use death magic!

@@Yetihollow -well it does not matter if you like magic or not since you can respec 5 times per run, so you can take a high lvl build and put the soul arrows on for instance and face yhrom just to try it than revert your stats back with rosaria no problem. It takes 2-3 hits to his face which you can aim at instead of his body, get him to stagger and kneel, crit him rinse repeat and then you're done. The hardest part is to find the right spacing but i find that very fun compared storm ruled spam or death by 1000 cuts XD. Just an idea, also some dark magic and pyromancy works in tandum with melee seemlessly. Take black flame for instance, you can use one or 2 casts of that to shield break damn near every shield wielding turtle in the game,cept dragonslayer armour of course. And you can do this without even need another weapons so long as nothing you're facing is highly resistant to fire you can use demon's scar from the demon princes soul and not need to change weapons between casts. Again just a few ideas cause what makes me come back and make different characters in these games and different builds, is that i love getting the most out of what these games offer in their build variety which is always pretty packed with different ways one can play any single run. Well that and said characters are based on ones i actually write but you hopefully get the point. Anyway, if you try any of these ideas in elden ring than i would love to see vids on that,i have been eagerly craving the new vids i see of many players first or returning experiance for these games and seeing new or different perspectives to my own is both interesting to me and entertaining.

Thanks! I do know that magic can be useful for the fight and will definitely use it in the future. As for the different builds, i have to agree thats also why I constantly replay these games cause theres so much variety and every build has its weakness (Except for sellsword). Im saving more Elden ring content for the DLC and cant wait to see all the different weapons they added! And I couldn't agree more about the perspectives!

How is it possible you only have less than 50 subs? The overall video quality is on a much higher level. Only thing I would say is the audio at certain points like in the demon princes is kinda quiet compared to the music, but overall incredible video.

Hey pretty good, dont know if this was said but i think it might be beneficial. Its a little hard to hear you in some parts i think your background music my be overpowering your commentary

Btw, as far as the scaling goes with Friede's scythe: INT scales damage for the off-hand scythe used in the weapon-art, while DEX scales damage for the main-hand scythe.
