yeah, cubes are deadly if ai manages to rush them you have no chance of survival works for player cubes too though

As someone who is doing a grand admiral 5x crisis run rn, I think the strat is just to unequivocally schmooze your closest (hopefully militarist) neighbor to the point no one attacks you and then rush tech/megastructures until you out out tech and out economy everyone.

I'm noticing a trend with your videos... Ep3o: I'm going to do a difficult challenge, and I'm going to do it on GRAND ADMIRAL!!! Let's see how I do! AI: lol no Ep3o: Aw man, I lost! How did that happen? Seriously, I don't remember you ever winning one of your challanges. Maybe you should scale the difficulty back a little so each video isn't just you getting shanked by an overpowered AI empire over and over again...

I did pre-3.6, but the AI changes made them a lot better. I have recorded a video using mid-game scaling and it was far far easier. I want to get to a point where the challenges are 50% likely to win, so you're always on your toes finding balanced settings is gonna be hard! Don't want it to be a walk in the park, but don't want it to be insanely easy either! Basically, I am aware of the issue and I'm messing with the settings so I can go back to winning ways sometimes XD

You lack patience young grasshopper. Once you can play past the year 2800 on a massive galaxy with no pop growth scaling then and only then have you mastered the art of patience. *gong sound*

@@StarboyXL9 suprisingly even as a late game solo player, I've only ever gone over 2800 twice, one my first ever none tutorial playthrough, second I believe is my 5X technology playthrough. Average seems to be 2500 but that's me doing everything I can with the DLC/updates I have/the console has. & Yet some people can't even make it to 2300 let alone 2400??? Patience is indeed a virtue grandmaster.

Console player, ngl I have set up many different games but very few of them have reached 2400's. One, and only one game did I successfully defeat the crisis and won at a victory year 2600. Honestly the last 50 years nothing really happened, I had the Unbidden and the L-Swarm and the WiH at the same time. Then again, I'm not playing 25x Grand Admiral.

I find that overturned origin works best with the cybernetics tree with the only green starting trait being the pop growth trait.

They got cubes so early becouse crisis point accumulation depends on galaxy size. that means that they got maxed out of crisis points from just a few space battles.

I prefer "The Flesh is Weak" over "Engineered Evolution" for Overtuned Empires. But I think I am biased on that one because I really like the rework of this Ascension Path.

I only do singleplayer and from my experience against the AI you can't do just missile ship's. I've mostly doing Cruiser's, 50/50 brawler & Swarmer/Hanger.

@@ArchitekturTV yeah, you go into fleetmanager, make the entire fleet corvettes and then click ‘reinforce’ it’ll try and build as much as your resources can handle

@@ArchitekturTV Also, if you can't be bothered manually clicking on the ship type in the fleet manager to fill your fleet, you can Ctrl+Shift+Click on the ship type, and it'll fully fill that fleet with this type of ship. Super useful in a pinch when you need to corvette spam really quickly.

Did the flat earth society spawn with the Flat Earth Origin? That would probably explain how they got where they are so damn fast. Otherwise, i call hax. :< Nice try though, appreciate the effort :D
