We raised $52,000 on stream today for the Palestine Children’s Foundation! THANK YOU for supporting this with me. It means the world. Just to address a couple comments I’ve seen: To be clear, we are deeply grieving the Israeli lives lost in the terrorist attack in October and as a community we stand strong against antisemitism. That does not justify the genocide the Israeli government is inflicting on the Palestinian people and we do not support the actions of the Israeli government. My goal is to help support the innocent civilians in Palestine & do my best use my platform to speak on it and to help them get access to the life-saving aid they desperately need. I’ve talked a lot about this on Twitch/Discord/IG, but I know many of you don’t follow me there and may not have realized or seen.

as a jewish member of your audience: THANK YOU for your support to the palestinian people. that so many people will use antisemitism as a shield to justify the atrocities our brothers, sisters, siblings in gaza and palestine as a whole have been subject to for so long is sickening to me, and all too common. hearing you talk about the Palestine Children's Foundation really made me light up after a long and hard day. thank you for always using your platform to spread love and compassion to those who need it most.

you should do a build challenge where you spin a wheel and the wheel has years on it like from 2014-2023 and the year you land on you can only use the packs from that year to build a house no other packs can be used not even base game

Can't they just do a whole history challenge sims game? Where like, you move through generations as you play and your sims can like invent electricity. Of course, a nice clean, simsie version of history where horrible things don't happen literally all the time (except when funny). Basically Spore but with sims and less of a complete and total bore.

my dream medieval pack would have a medieval world, and when sims spawned there they would be automatically wearing medieval outfits (simaler to how in batuu everybody is wearing star wars outfits). a medieval pack would be the best thing in the entire world lol

I built a castle tiny home yesterday and it totally worked and looks adorable in the middle of the woods of henford on bagley. Turned out very expensive tho because all my furniture had to fit the vibe, not the price

Castle residental rental is actually almost a thing in the UK. Those grand manor estates take so much up keep, many of them have been divided into apartments, and several of them are technically castles.

When you talked about your fundraiser I just realized that you are the only youtuber that I follow who is doing something like this, most of them just say things like times are sad but we have to move on or the world is in chaos but . Not that its something wrong but i did feel a bit disappointed with that approach. Because it felt like they don't even want to speak the words... I am a new subscriber bit I feel like you have my respect for life (not saying that thats a great thing just how i feel). I enjoy the down to earth and honest approach you take towards the sims and you take on these packs is refreshing for me. Thank you.

It’s because of the separation between “build” and “buy” mode and kits. Build & Buy mode is called such because the “build” refers to the actual structure, and “buy” is furnishing. So a “build” kit is only meant to include structural aspects and that’s why there’s no furniture 😊

Having watched your videos on the castle pack, I kinda want to try and challenge myself to try and do a "full middleage" save using only Cottage living and the Castle pack (and supporting stuff packs). Really wish that we could have another Newcrest world with a differet setting of enviorement, because I love how close the lots are together. You could have a little farmer area, and theme the cottages around that, the most wealthy farm being on the biggest lot of cause. You could have a "worker area", woodworking house, florist house, painter house, and of cause an Inn for the townfolks to meet up. On the bigger lots you could have minor castles for the higher-ups, and then on the biggest lot - a grand castle, which we pretend that all the small farms and work houses exists to provide for, and the lot next to it could be a middleage themed park which is open to the public

This was such an awesome build!! It’s great how much you try to push the boundaries of new content so that folks can see what you can do with it!! I wonder if it would be a fun challenge to try to make a build without any base game build and buy like items, wallpaper, flooring, etc. I think actual walls, floors, roofs, etc. would be allowed (for obvious reasons lol) but nothing else from base game could be used beyond making the basic shell. I bet you would crush it!! Thanks for all your hard work!

On KZfaq there is a Time Team Special when they redid Dover Castle to period interiors, Dover is one of the oldest Castles in England. It's worth a watch for inspiration.

Hey, just think of people who buy castles in the UK, they want to reno it themselves, and live inside on a budget so everything can go to the restoration of the castle! Cheap appliances and such is normal for expensive or imitating the style! :D

gonna do a rags to riches in this house and my backstory is, my sim is a writer, she/they cuz haven't decided who they are or how they look, BUT, point is, the sim moves to windenburg from newcrest to pursue their writing dreams and they get to stay in this remenant of a castle for cheap because in its current state it has no power with which to cook or use plumbing, so the sim gotta goto the library or a cafe to work on their writing and get food, and I'll set a certain amount of money for myself to have to earn writing before I can re connect to the grid to make it a challenge, and then from their its just earning enough to setup/expand the castle

I’ll admit I’m a little shocked she didn’t use the base game dungeon door on the inside. I think it’s one of the cheapest doors too. Otherwise I’m actually obsessed with this build it’s really cute! I also think some of those debug castle ruins from Get Together would’ve been so cool around the back and sides of the build. Sorta gives the idea that maybe it was once part of a bigger castle that crumbled over time

I started watching this... was about 2 minutes in and there was mention of the fundraiser... so I paused and went to see if the stream was happening. I missed the first 30 minutes, but stayed for the rest. I don't have a lot of money so only donated a small amount... I don't think it was noticed since a lot of donations happened and I was too slow and missed the "match the donation" thing that was happening at the time. Now back to finishing the video now that I showered, ate, etc... The tiny castle turned out kind of cute... especially the outside.

Kayla, don't worry about more modern bathrooms. Castles don't all have to be medieval. Check out Boldt Castle built in 1900 in the Thousand Islands. Pretty sure they had "modern" 1900 bathrooms.

I have a challenge idea for you simsie. Only use exterior pieces (walls, floors, lamps etc.) on the inside of the build and the other way around (only interior pieces on the exterior of the house) Might be a fun video

This castle is so cool. I found some mods that will be fitting for the Castle Kit including traits for being a King and Queen and some clothing. I want to make a King and Queen for the giant, beautiful castle you built. Sims really need to do another Medieval pack so this can play into that. I love that you are doing a charity stream for Gaza. It's so horrible what's happening over there, especially to the children. Thank you for helping them. You do such wonderful things with your streams.
