For the loader swaps I do this on flat ground which makes it easier to get the bucket back on.

A tip for using the backhoe; lower your loader bucket and slightly lift the front tires. You'll get better stability than your tilting front axle can offer.

If the temperate is above normal, idle the engine until it cools down. Constantly check the temperature gauge. Blow put the radiator grill often. You can buy a long nozzle to fit a compressor which makes it easy to clean the grill.
