@@jordan-rq1yp yeah to be honest I'm with alex on this one, I don,t care how wonderful the guy seems now, they've only been dating for two months, lots can come out after the honeymoon phase, she should wait at least 6 months to a year before going through with this. If I were her parents I would be like yeah he's amazing but why rush things? get to know each other, go through some shit together, than you can have clarity to make such a big decision.

Haven't you read stories of couples where things start to go downhill only once they moved in together, or once they're married, or got a kid? I'l always remember this story of this woman who's husband slapped her for the first time on her wedding day. And she chalked it up to the stress of the event and went through with it. It took her years to come out of this abusive marriage. I don't remember how long exactly they were together before the wedding but it was definitely fast. You just get to know every side of somebody before you marry them. And not every side will come out in two months.

My parents dated a year and then got married. My dad even forgot to pick up my mom on what was supposed to be their first date. She made him pay😂. Lol. Anyways they were married almost 44 years before my dad passed away from cancer. My mom was by his side when he took his last breath.

I get it works out for some people in these cases. But even if you "know" shouldn't that just give you confidence to wait out such a big step in life? Like I'd think people would be happy and content with simply dating and getting to know eachother better before making a life commitment. Seems really strange to me

@@NYC_Goody I understand your point. But I have learned that what may seem right for me isn't right for someone else. We all are different. Only they can be the judge of what is best for them. What I've seen from Melinda, she makes very sound and wise decisions. I'm a fan of hers and the rest of the Crazy Families. As a fan, I will celebrate with her and not judge her for her decisions. I'm not God. I don't have that right to say whether its to soon or not. But I will encourage her to continue to listen to God and let Him tell her what is right for her.

@@amberc.2137 yes. And they were not forced or pressured to get married. It's the feeling of wanting to be with someone forever and eternally. They fasted and went to the temple. After marrying they had me and my sister. They raised us to be humble and to be thankful. My sister is currently serving on a mission and I am also applying to go. If the goal is for eternity doesn't matter what challenges we face. ☺️ I pray for you happiness.
