@@cewla3348depends on which mods you have installed. If you have most of them, they're supposed to remove modern technologies. But if you have mods like CE it can lead to other items being left in.

I always love "low tech" runs in games like this, but the progression usually doesn't allow it unmodded. I had never thought to put together a list of mods to play this way in Rimworld, but now I've gone and downloaded every mod in your list. I'm super excited! I'd love to see at least another 100 days. Maybe make a castle or a stronghold as the eventual goal?? Maybe give Camcol a very short wizards tower. 😂 Oh! And another thing which should be compatible with existing saves. You can add Dragons Decent mod. Wizards, Dragons, Medieval? What could be better!

Psycasts expanded is great, once you have 2 psycasters, you can fix pretty much every problem with a mix of the necropath, chronopath, and protector trees

Damn, it seems that your videos get better by the day. I tried this challenge like a year back, but some high tech guns still kept sneaking in, so it always devolved into just collecting modern guns in a medieval setting lol. Maybe I should try this challenge again?

Yeah they can definitely sneak in on random colonists and stuff but I didn't get any so far. On the one hand it'd be fun to have some anachronistic weaponry but CE kinda makes them worthless anyway because you can't make any extra ammo.

One of the few RimWorld playthroughs that I actually was interested through the entire 30 minutes of, I would totally watch this for an entire season or more. if I were you I'd lean into storytelling a bit more for medieval, but that's just me. amazing video can't wait to see more if you decide to presue this!

I am a veteran and I have a horrible sense of humor. My first week in Trashcanistan I saw a man who had the left side of his jaw shot off. He had lost an argument with his brother about who their sister should marry and the argument ended with one brother trying to execute the other. Seeing his face almost made me puke. Hearing the story made me laugh so hard I almost puked again. You made me laugh. Out loud. THANK YOU. The monkey in my profile pic is Shadoo. A local tried to sell her to us.

Small tip: If a pawn you want to capture is downed and about to die in a few hours, you can tend to them right away by drafting your medic and right-clicking on them, you'll then have the "tend without medicine" option to slightly patch them up so they don't die during the trip.

You can also use medicine in your inventory to tend them with medicive

I was literally gonna ask if you were gonna do a medieval series on the next upload so i guess this is great luck Also have you thought of trying the Melee animations mod? it makes melee combat alot cooler and more viable especially in CE its perfect for medieval colonys

The idea of the warehouse being filled with eggs and all is quiet and the next day there are just a mountain of baby chicks peeping and wandering around everywhere, like they did start eating the stored food but all the little yellow puff balls would be quite fun little surprise

I feel like the Pharmacist mod (I think it’s that one) would have actually be pretty helpful in this video because I believe it allows you to tend without medicine on the spot which would have allowed you to patch up those potential prisoners enough to get them to their cell before they die. Loving your videos by the way ❤

Oh yeah a sequel to this could be good! There is a mod to convert other factions to your ideology but it requires to capture raiders and free them when they are converted, you need 20 which can be long. Maybe just build a nice castle, designate a King or a Queen and war crimes are enough.

Great video! If you want to avoid pawns dying before they get to your prison, you can draft your doctor and make them tend to the pawn without brining them to a bed.

@Hazzor Right clicking on one of the VE Psycast abilities will auto cast as your colonist sees fit. The Static lord becomes extra OP when that's enabled.

Absolutely love the video and setup you got, but I do have one suggestion: Stews!!!! Since the salted meat mods hasn't been around for a year to provide us with long lasting sausages...it may be prudent to give your colony some stew for the excess food you got. It's entirely up to you whether it should be fancy or not, but I would imagine a hot pot cooking over 3 days in the winter would be a welcome friend indeed. Also should you ever uh...need supplies...I'm sure the prisoners would'nt notice the blood soups made of their former friends...much. I put that specific pot by the dungeons.
