I watched this done by speedrunners and people with 100s of hours into Kenshi. Taking into account you were absolutely green 1-2w ago, its a really impressive run. There may be no carcrashes and falling over, but your edit and storytelling keeps getting better and mixed with the chill music its a fantastic watch!

Kenchi base building is weird. You can walk the entire world and get ignored by most random travellers, and the factions all stick pretty much to their territories. But the moment you put down blueprints for your base, every faction knows instantly where you are and wants to grind you to dust, no matter what faction territory you're in.

Capture the bug man and put him in a cage in one of the jails stealthily. That should reset your Relationship with whatever factions jail, you put them in.

Thanks for getting me addicted to Kenshi! Having a blast with it. Spend yesterday all day being a slave and cheesing my lockpicking. Then I started freeing the others slaves for an Uprise (read: distraction) so I could get out of there. It was awesome! :D

That's a hell of a double edged sword. Crawling through the world with no limbs as a skeleton is hella dangerous in Kenshi with the #HolyNation being as strong as it is, though cannibals not caring about you and not needing to eat is a decent advantage.

It's easy to be a thief when you run 36 mph and can turn invisible by chopping your own legs off

i dont know if someone commented this but if someone wants to do this challenge i have some tips: first, you should train thievery in the cannibal village that you start in(just open a chest and steal things and put them back in), second there is a way batter route to do than just going south, wich can be really dangerous, specially if you are not savescumming, the route is to first go to the cannibal capital and in the building where the grand wizard is there is always an arm(wich lets you heal and more importantly lockpick), then you want to go to the suspicious lab wich is not that far away, in this lab there is a lot of cannibals but they still dont attack you, and if you go to the last floor(the one with cages), you can lockpick the crates and there is always two scout legs(in vanilla at least, some mods change it), and then from that point onwards it becomes way easier. TLDR: Go to the cannibal capital to get an arm and then to the suspicious lab to get two scout legs.

It's much faster to level thieving by stealing from someone on the ground when they regain consciousness it pretty much works the same way just with less carpal tunnel you pause when they are conscious but "playing dead" then just spam click to steal something from them if you succeed put it back and try to steal it again this starts of incredibly fast as at low thieving you rarely succeed so you can sometimes spam click and gain dozens of levels in a seconds Also their are free skeleton repair beds in Black Desert City although the -100 to all factions means you might have trouble getting to use those beds unless you could sneak in and somehow use it without anyone bothering you

Phenomenal video. How to get out of your deficit? Great question, everyone hates you, you need a shopkeeper. Find one shopkeeper that doesnt hate you, sell them drugs or other stolen items. Maybe since you're fast now go stock up on prince heads in the foglands

I think there is a glitch where you can give over the same person with a bounty, a bunch of times to collect said bounty over and over again and/or improve your faction reputation.

i love/hate kenshi. its a great game, until you realize theres a hole in your solid perimeter wall and the holy nation can just walk the f right in. usually when you think youre safe now that you got that nice gate built

Burns tower was actually not that far south of where you spawned… free skeleton companion and he has a skeleton bed you can use

I'm pretty sure there's no way one could survive as a non-skel. Also, it's cheesy, but there's a money printer you could make using hemp and turning it into cats. It'll take a long time, but it might be the most efficient way to get out of debt. No one will take your bounties because you're enemies to everyone who accepts bounties.

I think your gonna have to do bounties until a faction stops hating you after that you could use their shops and sell stuff you make, stole or looted

And I thought I had a hard start 8-((... First time for 4 years playing the game. So I thought (Stupidly!), _"I know. I'll start off as a one armed person in the desert. What could possibly go wrong?"_ Spawned in the desert. There's a crap load of sand here!? And as soon as I started running, I bumped into a _gang_ of about 6 of those spider things. I didn't hang about to find out what they were so just ran. And in doing so, I picked up two more spiders. _"Oh! Joy!"_ Stupidly, and without fully getting to grips with the mouse buttons, Instead of pressing the middle one to turn around to see where I was going, I pressed the RMB and turned back into the growing gang of spiders. After spotting a number of red numbers flashing up, I realised what I'd done so managed to get away from them. _"Jeesh! That was dumb!"_ With my spider _friends_ in tow, I managed to get to a city. Don't know which one I didn't stop to see the _"Welcome to...."_ whatever sign that may or may not be at the front gate. I digress. The guards took out the spiders so I looed their bodies for meat and claws. I was just about to go into the city when some bandits(?) turned up. I watched the guards take them out and when all clear, looted the dead bodies. Got some nice stuff _(Anything is nice when you've got nothing!)_ and went into the first shop. Now I was in the inventory selling all my items and thought, _"I'll get some bandages. I'm sure I'll need some."_ And as I was doing that I noticed my character was moving! _"Well... That's odd."_ I thought. Until I realised, I'd fainted due to the hits I'd taken from those spider things. So the guard took me outside the shop, and dumped me in the street. The HUD on my screen said. DYING! Which I took to be pretty serious. Anyway. After a couple minutes, a nice person came along and started to treat my wounds. _"How damn decent and nice of them to help out a complete stranger!"_ How wrong was I? He was a slaver. Now, some 20 in game hours into my first game of kenshi for 4 years, and I'm in a cage and unconscious. But I'd rather be like that, then limbless, in debt up to my eyeballs and in a canibal encampment

before i watch this, i will tell you, yes, yes you can survive the hardest start, as you have a save and load function that allows you to play differently if things do not go your way.

i did a solo torso challenge in venge once. My dude is now called the 'Maimed One' and is one a path of revenge against the Savant who did this too him. Quite an entertaining playthrough.
