there is a Beta, roof option in the game that allows you to place roofs in a more extravagant way. Took me a while to figure that out but i tend to keep even my larger structures modest, so that the roof does not become a massive pain in the ass.

If im not mistaken the roof problems you encountered are due to low stability foundations, to have a 3 story building you need solid materials at the bottom like stone blocks because i remember having that issue but im not a 100% certain.

found this game when it was released on steam. its a great little sandbox. most of the time i would mod rimworld to be more medieval, this game hit all the right spots for me

Funny ebough Backgammon was a huge deal in most of medieval europe to the point where it was outlawed on Sunday's in most places and completely outlawed a few times because of vice laws and people just not doing shit because they wanted to play backgammon This is a bit of an over sinplification it should be said, but if you can find videos on the subject its actually kind of funny.
