I have a question for you: I am turning my minivan into a camper van, for the walls I was planning to use plywood, if I follow your process, but I don’t have air conditioning in the van, do you think it will get mold? I plan to travel around the warmer states. Also, if you do not recommend me to do it, do you think I could walk paper over the minivan walls as they are instead? Please let me know and keep in mind my minivan will not have AC unless I am driving which will not be that often.

I had a chipboard partition wall that I painted with white emulsion then papered over it. Haven't had 1 problem in 3 years since I did.

Great video super helpful!! I have some leftover birch ply from a project and want to add a wall paper murals and hang it like large format art. I have a can of GUARDZ already at home. Would that work or should I get the weld bond?

you need to be careful that the surface hasn't been sealed.. with a lacquer or varnish, which means the paper/adhesive is just sitting on it.... it makes it easy to peel off then :)

Does it work better if you prime the wood first?

Could you use shellac to seal the wood?

I just purchased a 100 year old house with ship lap walls that are covered in cheeseclothe and wallpaper. I want to re-paper. Will this technique of wood prep work on this type of wall as well? Would you recommend a wall liner? Thanks.

I removed vinyl wall covering from 1965 bertram bathroom, it came off in one piece to use for patterns. One failed attempt using contact cement over previous coating on the marine plywood . I have sanded off previous coatings to bare wood ,hoping to use Weldbond to seal now, Could you share the ratio to use and recommend a glue for my vinyl coated fabric please. Thank you Pat
