In past 70 yrs, govts have followed a set pattern to keep indians uneducated & poor. Today, developing one product one Distt is good. Law & order is a big issue, Shaheen bagh was mishandled, Farmer's agitation is mishandled. Legacy issues, reservation policy, vote Bank politics, poverty, lack of education have to be tackled..

True. Our leadership couldnt even industrialize us while the rest of the world was advancing to post industrial stage. The 1950s-1990s was one of the shittiest eras for india. We lost the race there. And hence we see such contrasts in india. I hope we cover those gaps in the next 2 decades.

Change doesn't come from the top. It comes from the roots. To make India progressive, we have to ensure the rational education of every single child in this country, so as to build a public with improved scientific temper. India is a highly populous country, with right education we can make our population our asset, otherwise it will keep lying as the liability on the taxpayers and on the government.

Let it first become a country where ppl don't sleep hungry and the defence is super strong. Let it become self sufficient (in a lot of areas we can). No we cannot be first world in a sense of western Europe, forget abt it. But we can still be a lot better than whr we are.

Today, thr is direct and speedy transfer of tech and know how at an unprecedented scale because of which India might get thr in 30 years from now. May be early. Still not Possible bro.. It can be only Possible once we Abolished Single Bench Colonial Collegium Judicial System and replaced it to Jury System ( an Advance Version of Khap System). Once the Indian citizens have a Recalling Power to Sack their Nearby local Leaders, Police Commissioners,Mayors, Municipality Officers, Administrative Officers etc etc.. These types of LAWS are in European Countries and thats why they are self Reliant.

' Uncivilized Nation ' !!! Tried driving there about 12 years ago - Outside Bangalore despite no ' Coherent Traffic Laws ' ; I was in a ' Compact Car '. Like a gr8 Condition 2006 Zen. A Public Bus Driver almost flattened me - as did many Trucks / Lorries. Seems to be ' Zero Humanity ' ......

Sir after 70 years of independence we see even today people fight on street for reservations add my caste as backward so when world is moving ahead our people are running for backward reservations. There is no urgency to reduce castes. It is caste discrimination that is to be eliminated. Caste is like a sect of the religion. There are caste specific traditions, culture, festivals, cuisine and arts. That is why it is part of their identity to the Indian people. People will not simply give up their identity. Wishing elimination of caste is like wishing elimination of Religion and culture.

Because all industrial activites happen in urban areas. A non-industrial country is either post-industrial or a third world shithole. You are speaking from a position of previlege and don't care about the material welfare of people of your country therefore you romanticize poverty. If India does not industrialize then it soon the industrialized countries will take over India and then they will brutually industrialize India for their own benefits. This skepticism towards industrialization is one of the reasons British managed to colonize India otherwise how do you think a measly 10 thousand people managed to take over 30 million people?
