I just went back & watched one of the early videos of Yoshi, when he came out of quarantine. WOW! He looks like a totally different horse!!! Way to go! He is the cutest, and his trust in you now really shows! Great job!

Is he blind at one side or totaly blind? In the netherlands there is a youtuber, daphne, with a horse, blind at one side, and she do even shows with him. You're pony needs a lot of love and patience, so he's on the right place.👍🥰

This is very nice to see the training from the very beginning. Also, it’s great to see training of a mini. I think people tend to overlook that sometimes since they are small and cute, but they are also quite strong and can hurt someone if they aren’t trained.

Yoshi is adorable! I can see why you are in love with him and he is blessed to have you, you are doing a great job with him and he looks great! My friend has a horse that is blind on the right side and deaf on the left ear but she treats him most of the time as if he is normal, she lunges both ways does all her ground work both sides rides him normally, yes she does make exceptions or helps for him to get him to understand what she wants and they have learned each other. He does lunge and lope with his head turned to see out of the one eye but they are making it work and he is a great little horse for her ❤. Thanks for sharing your videos with us love watching!

3:49 aghghghghhh thats exactly what my horse does!!! i try to just start with the light pressure, because that is how you sensitize them you get them to recognize the light pressure and move away from it. but noooo she just doesn't care and will LITERALLY FALL ASLEEP while I'm giving her pressure. so i increase the pressure (usually saying something like "wake up, slow pokey!") and before i know it I'm snapping and snatching and she's just barely thinking about it. i hate how the process always goes, and id love to find a way to "wake her up" without whips and spurs and tons of energy. if someone out there in the comments could give me advice, id love it!

Yes! I can’t find a rope halter that fits him though 😅 His head is too big for Mini halters and his head is too small for a normal rope halter 🤦♀️

Nope! She's very small and the pony is probably 300-250 pounds maybe 400!
