9:10 Used that same trick to clean 8 fuel injectors. Turned out it was the fuel pump. But my injectors are hella clean now.

No really tho, me and a friend met him at grid life and him and his whole team are so cool they were the only ones running so there’s was only like 3 or 4 of us standing around and they talked to us like we were part of the group, one of the coolest group of guys you’ll ever meet if given the opportunity

LS swap is bolt on boy typical, Subi swap is played too. It's just lame... A Coyote swap with a 5sp sequential would be dope AF. Live out of the box... Be the box.

Modern fuels with ethanol and especially E85 go bad real quick. Ethanol is hygroscopic, meaning it actively attracts water. Even from moisture in the air. This breaks down the ethanol and creates a lot of gunk, which clogs injectors/carbs. The best solutions are to either drain the tank and run it dry before you park it (careful with going lean), use stabiliser before you park it or use something like EcoMaxx (synthetic fuels) as they don't break down.

Facts. Don't let ethanol sit in your tank long term. Even regular commercial fuels that have 15% ethanol can break down more quickly than older formulations. I've found it easiest to just use up your tank every couple of weeks, rather than mess with the other solutions. But if you've got 30 cars like Hoonigan, you might want to get a bit professional about it and use some stabilizer for a car parked on a lift. A little forethought goes a long way.

@@redlion145 Yeah, even E10 won't last more than a month or two. The more ethanol, the bigger the issues. Ethanol also eats aluminium, so at some point it starts dissolving parts, if it sits for long enough.

Make Scumbug SCORE certified to run BAJA. 5 Open Class can be a good fit. Lot of folks will be down to help build it to rules specs and to help on a race program (myself included). FYI, this year's Baja 1000 will run south to north from La Paz to Ensenada.

that's a lot of mechanics and wires under this lil truck. this would be a passion project for me. delete it to bare bones and shredding the street. lil cargo thing. i dunno alot about rotors, tho. engine disassembly required to learn to get this working, myself. yo

Ok hear me out on this one.. put a Mercury Racing 520 CC/DTS in the scumbug 😉 that thing would wheelstand the entire sand dune 😅. For real though, it would sound super mean and have a good amount of power bone stock. And you may even get zack to fall in love with a new motor. We all know he loves the chops. I would gladly watch a 4 hour episode on that swap and drive 😁
