Fun fact: Skittles actually don’t have different flavors, they have different scents. Thanks to the different scents, our brain just conceives the tastes different I guess?

I think it’s because they’re the shittest! Any type of candy you can buy always has more lemon, lime & orange (the worst) & less raspberry/strawberry, grape etc. Except when yellow is pineapple, orange is peach & green is apple...then there are less of them too.

That's not true at all. That was a myth that floated around that was backed by psychology professor and a flawed blind taste test. But the actual maker of Skittles spoke out and said that it wasn't true and they were all distinct flavors and tastes.
