@@felipez3115 I don't know the interview itself, but there are old forums saying that Kubo was asked by a fan why Shunsui didn't use Bankai (in fk) because he might have been able to defeat Aizen. Kubo supposedly replied, "Shunsui's appeal is not to defeat Aizen, but I let readers think that."

The problem with that is at some point Aizen is going to control what Shunsui sees feels smells ect ect. They need to know about touching the blade, that's the only way.

there's no evidence of that. In fact, there's even more evidence against it as the houses would have strutures in place that have their family either closer to them in the field or they hold separate roles within the house (think yoruichi)

Going by that logic then chances are Stark would have somewhat of a chance too. In a 1v1 scenario he outclasses Shunsui by a lot and we've never seen Shunsui being soo powerful he kills Hollows by his Reiatsu or cause any sort of effect on soul reapers or Quincy with his.

Make no mistake. Shunsui's playful attitude is hiding the fact he's a cold blooded killer. The duality in his soul is shown by his duel wielding of 2 blades which is extremely rare even in the Soul Society. Pre Evolution Aizen would absolutely be a blood match for Shunsui. I think Aizen at the Soul Society Arc is probably even to Shunsui. Since we've never seen Aizen's Bankai it's tough to call but Aizen has never seen Shunsui's Bankai either as far as we know. This would be one hell of a match. I say even.

@@SfisoulShunsui had exhausted himself fighting stark before Aizen vs Gotei and Aizen was using KS to trick everyone while he cut them down. KS wouldn’t matter while shunsui is in bankai cause all participants are stuck in the different acts of his bankai until they’re all played out. Also when it comes to reiatsu it is stated that Ukitake has the most and he’s considered an equal to shunsui. So basically all the top shinigami like Yama, Unohana, shunsui, ukitake and Aizen have similar levels of reiatsu

Also, using your logic, even SOI Fon and Toshiro was Aizen level since they were even more injured by the time they fought Aizen and they did just as well as Shunsui. Even then he never landed a single clean shot against Starrk, only a cheap shot. You also don't understand something; the reiatsu Ukitake had was Mimihago and that was to keep him alive. That was not Ukitake's normal fighting reiatsu, else he wouldn't have been blitzed by Wonderweiss from across town. In fact during the first invasion only Yama, Zaraki, and Unohana could handle a stern Ritter without needing Bankai. Zaraki handled 3 with a sealed blade. Even novels are clear that Aizen was only afraid of Yama, Zaraki, and Unohana. Nobody else. Certainly not Shunsui, whom he called a non-factor to his face

Aizen intimidated the espada through reiatsu alone. Starrk was too strong for Shunsui with shikai. Aizen is second only to Yama pre hogyoku.

I think it depends on a few factors. Aizen may be far too fast for Kyoraku and take him out before he activates his Bankai. He proved that in FKT defeating Kyoraku in two slashes. It would require the fight to last for some time beforehand and to Kyoraku to be wounded for the two first acts of his Bankai to take effect on Aizen. The third act drains both participants of reiatsu and I believe that Aizen possesses far greater amount of reiatsu than Kyoraku. The fourth act decapitates the opponent (or participant) by a thin threat, although I am not sure which one of the participants is targeted - the one who runs out of reiatsu first in the previous act or the one who overall suffers more through all previous acts? Because of all of that I see Kyoraku's Bankai more like a last resort to reverse a dire situation than a weapon to take down the opponent instantly at the beginning of a fight. What's more, none of the acts immobilize the opponent, so Aizen would still have time to react during their course. Let's also not forget that Aizen propably knew about Kyoraku's Bankai and, if they were to ever clash all-out, it's possible that he would've taken some precautions before. Forgive me my bad English.

Well delivered points. Though Shunsui's bankai actually immobilises the opponent by forcing them to stick to the play so the only way to counter is to counter the play itself which base aizen can do with his reiatsu or with KS , that is assuming all rights of decapitation is given to Shunsui and is determinant on who he wants to unleash the killing blow on, If so, then KS can alter his senses to not target Aizen

Without hogyoku aizen would be claped by most of the captains if they were never let him show his shikai isshin urahara kyoraku zaraki would wipe the flor with him for sure even with his hypnosis also there is unohana thats why aizen planned all to the point he would not need to face some of captains i karakura and also was fused with hogyoku before also aizen stated that battle and effect ofabilities is decided and based on reiatsu which means he cant hypno zaraki same as yamato was not completly under his influence

Just my opinion. Aizen said it himself when Soi Fon tried to kill him with her suzamebachi, "a fight between soul reapers is a fight between spiritual pressure, i can easily nullify your silly ability with my own spiritual pressure" but if that was true for everyone he wouldn't of had so many contingencies put in place, and that's because their were ppl with spiritual pressures strong enough to hurt him. he created wonderwise for Yamamoto, fused with the hyogaku without Gin's knowledge, (gin was OP easily stronger than all the espada) Aizen had a special defense kido on the back of his neck, and trapped half the captains in wakomundo, (and I believe in the manga it's stated he was wary of kempachi's dormant powers) To me aizen was very cautious of a good few ppl, even urahara himself said that a 100yers ago aizen would of never attacked him without thinking, and he didn't need to fuse himself with the hyogaku to create the oken, so to me he did that to protect himself for a few threats. Urahara's abilities , Yamamoto's bankai, kyoraku's bankai, Gin's bankai and Ichigo and kempachi's dormant abilities. But again that's all just my opinion

Yamamoto’s reiatsu was powerful enough to not be affected by Kyoka Suigetsu. Aizen could still be too fast for Kyoraku. Like when he cut him down in fake karakura town

Yamamoto could be affected by Aizens power when they fought in FKT. When Aizen stabbed him and he grabbed Aizens arm he asked: " Are you sure that's my arm you're holding?" To which Yamamoto says if he was trusting his eyes he couldn't be sure but could tell from Aizens Reiatsu pouring into his gut that it was him

I think it might depend on the matter of Aizens conversation with soifon with how he completely negated her shikai ability. So can he do that to other abilities as well thats based off conditions? If so it would make sense why barragan submitted to aizen even after becoming an espada snd having that respira ability that I just don't see Aizen defeating. Unless that's a factor.

The answer is no. Aizen has way too much reiatsu for Shunsui. His Kyoka Suigetzu is beyond broken and the guy is extremely smart.

I think that overrated Aizens reatsu (Aizen as Shinigami had reatsu 2x captain reatsu as soi fong, komamura, and stronger than hitsugaya or byakuya, but Kyoraku break shield from Aizen in battle and Kyoraku was injured and weakened from Stark s Cero. Aizen maybe had bigger reatsu than Kyoraku, but not by much and reality warping is more than ilusion. Aizen bankai never use. I think that not ver suitable in battle, or had some limitations as for example hisagi bankai, or soi fong Bankai.

@@miroslavkapral3882 aizen is always using Kyoka Suigetzu. We still don't know what Aizen's Bankai ever was. He made fools of the entire Gotei 13 and had plans for them all. Shunsui, as deadly as he is wouldn't stand a chance.

@@miroslavkapral3882 Aizen's shikai doesnt create illusions. It alters your senses. You cant sense his reiatsu, feel his pressence etc. It's complete hypnosis. I could see Aizen just win with his shikai, similiar to how Byakuya beat bankai Renji wiithout needing to use bankai. While Kyouraku is performing the plays, Aizen could just use different kidos to immobilize Kyouraku. Aizen's efficienty in kido is at the lvl of a kido corp master or even above them.

I don’t think speed is the main problem here. Aizen fits the profile of a magician. He has you looking one way but the real magic behind you. It’s misdirection. Illusions. Hypnosis. That is the problem.

Many captains can defeat base Aizen, including Tosen. Tosen's bankai is similar to Aizen's shikai. Kenpachi managed to beat him, because he's crazy and has insane instincts. Aizen doesn't have that. That's why I place Kenpachi second, because Aizen's shikai has same weaknesses. Unohana also kills Aizen with her AoE bankai attacks and insane regeneration.

Komamura in Bankai state was a lot weaker to Aizen in Shikai, same goes to our other captain hitsugaya. The only one who had even a slight chance would be Yamamoto, his bankai state would be stronger than or equal to Aizen in his final form. But would still be slightly weaker than Ichigo's final getsugatensho.

the only thing is, that Aizen would need to injure Kyoraku enough for Kyoraku's Bankai acts to actually work as whatever damage Kyoraku takes so does Aizen. So Aizen would defeat or kill Kyoraku before that. He could have killed all of the captains right there, but he didn't feel like it. Also, the water drown is based on the reiatsu of both of them. So Aizen would just outlast Kyoraku in that regard. Also, the sword cut thing, would not work on Aizen due to who Aizen is as a person, and Aizen right NOW is immortal, so no, Kyoraku cannot kill him, otherwise he would have done so. He even said that in the manga spoilers

He has a better chance than any of the other characters that were present obviously. I side with yes but Aizen did tell Soi Fon that battles between soul reapers are based off of spiritual pressure. And since his spiritual pressure was higher, he could just cancel out hers. So it could go either way.

Shunsui beats any captain bar Yama when he is serious. He wasnt even fighting staark with full conviction or arsenal of abilities. Chars with immortality definately beat him though as his games would only work 1ce to give him the advantage, if they survive then he basically has to use other games.

His power changes the coordinate plane of reishi in different ways. Offensively, he brings the coordinates of reishi on the physical plane to zero or near zero on the x axis. Defensively he changes the interactive plane of his own reishi to near zero. To teleport, he changes the location plane of himself to a different coordinate in a straight line. To regenerate, he changes the coordinates of reishi to a different form and function but he seemingly has a bird as the appearance affinity. Basically, if he should manipulate the form of reishi, it might always just look like a bird

Theoretically it can, but we all know that Aizen's level of bullsh**ery is too potent for him to go down to anyone not named Ichigo.

Unfortunately Aizen is one of of not the best counter to shunsui’s bankai. Remember that shunsui’s bankai is a play, there are acts and even he has to abide by their rules. The dangerous part of it is specifically act 3 and 4 which places them inside a body of water which drains their reiatsu, and whoever tries to escape gets insta killed. See, Aizen has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more reiatsu than shunsui even in base, and is calm and collected. If he just stands there, Shunsui would simply die without them even fighting. It’s not even a close fight unfortunately

Hear me out... Doesnt hax get overwritten when opponent has a higher sipritual pressure? Soifon's hax didnt work on aizen. So can aizen not overpower this bankai? And even if he cant...aizen can just realese his own bankai.... which i believe he def has.

The problem here is aizen already has shunsui under kyokasuigetsus absolute hypnosis even before the soul society arc. And remember when everyone attacked aizen who turned out to be momo? Where was aizen? Far away from the area on the ground behind the lieutenants. So even if shunsui uses an area of effect bankai, we've seen base aizen just dip out of the battlefield/area before during a fight.
