For individual farmer best way is to mulch the waste in field rather than burn it and make fertilizer. This idea is good for large

thought about using sugar cane fiber instead of coco coir since in uganda i cant find coco coir on the market anymore but sugarcane is readily available locally ad the fiber is more like a waste of cane sugar production... just how to process it into little pieces is my challange for now..

Ralph indeed I believe this can be a big move on helping out humanity as a whole and the planet we live on! Things happen for a reason I was about to try and find Andre’s info for just this purpose, I have some big ideas that with your help may be able to positively impact this earth! Please write me back I would like to be more efficient inn the use of sugar cane waste, could possibly help ease world hunger most definitely have a positive affect in the bio gradeability process on this planet. If we all get together we can make big changes!!!

And why would you use any wood to char dry sugarcane waste? It burns far better than wood, you only need to regulate the flow of oxygen in the burning chamber.
