Just a pointer Alfie, i used to record gaming videos and ALWAYS have that problem. you could get a splitter for your microphone and have it plugged into two sources/computers so just in case one crashes you will have a backup :)

literally alfie is so down to earth!! I love how selfless and optimistic he is. I wouldn't have freak out if he were just to talk to me and say to celebrate his friends birthday (It would be strange in the beginning yes, but he's such a friendly person) :') he really speaks his mind and gives himself out there ^_^

with garageband or audio recording software in general you should have an audio file even if the program crashes while recording/just after. won't show up in recent projects but look in either the project folder or default recording folder.
