I think, out of every little detail in this animatic, the splitting up of Scratch is probably one of the most ingenius aspects of it, even if it is just to allow him to be both Iago AND the genie in this scenario. And it is ENTIRELY because of Iago's final line in the number. Sure in the beginning, Scratch's subconscious knows this is for the best and he wants Molly to be happy, but in the end, his subconscious starts regretting playing a part in bringing these two back together and he HAS to make his anger in this known, even as his main body holds it back and tries to smile apologetically at the two. Ollie attempted to hunt him, Ollie hurt Molly in the past. It makes sense he'd pull a 180 when he see's history *starting* to repeat itself. Scratch wants Molly to be happy, regardless of how it occurs or who she spends time with. But Scratch is also protective of Molly and wouldn't trust Ollie no matter HOW many years has passed. It's just perfect.

Wow. Iago and Scratch really do sound almost identical.

I didn't realize this was a perfect theme song between Oli and Molly. I mean I seen a different review saying how since they "broke up," reunited and are growing as friends, it made me a bit sad how a crush has to go down like that. And with this (even if they are seen as teen-adults), it shows how their love can rekindle.

'The Return of Jafar' is the most prominently known "straight-to-video" sequel films produced by Disney. The art style is straight from the animated series, and the voice actor for Genie wasn't Robin Williams (Robin was brought back for the 3rd film, though). The song certainly fits well with TGAMM.

This makes me want to watch it so bad but it's hard to find the episodes in my country and I get discouraged before I can find a platform where I can watch it everytime I go to find it :(
