As a father who worked a LOT of 2nd and 3rd shift jobs when my daughter was still a very young kid (2-7 years old) that last "Kitty!" moment just hits like a gut punch for any father who after a long day, just wanted to check in with his little girl only to see her still awake and delighted to have a chance to see you for one moment before going to bed.

Same here. When I’d get home typically between2 and 5 am, I’d go into my daughter’s room to give her a kiss. If I didn’t wake her up (and I typically didn’t because she’s a very deep sleeper), she’d be upset in the morning because she’d think I forgot to kiss her when I got home. No matter how much reassurance my wife would give her, she’d be in a mood until I woke up and she could hear her hug and kiss.

One of my all time favorite movies ever. From the concept and animation and heartwarming comedy, it really cemented Pixar's signature style of storytelling for all of their movies.

Billy Crystal has great comedic timing, he used to host the Oscars for many years in a row (back when the Oscars was watched by far more people than it is now). This film is very imaginative and fun. 👍

I’m going to pass this comment on to my daughter. She’s about to start a job as a teacher’s aide at a preschool to see if that’s the career she wants to pursue (she’s 16 now, being homeschooled means she can work this day job and still get her schooling in.

😄👍 In case you didn't notice, two of the voice actors in this film were also in "The Big Lebowski." John Goodman (Sully/Walter) and Steve Buscemi (Randall/Donny). Another great animated movie in which Steve Buscemi voices a slightly more sympathetic character, is "Monster House" (2006).

I love that duet between Billy Crystal and John Goodman. The song "If I Didn't Have You" is fantastic. Also, if you don't recognize the voice of Mike's girlfriend Celia, that's Jennifer Tilly, best known as Tiffany, the love interest of the iconic serial killer doll Chucky.

They do everything in animation, this movie is what you would expect (sweet and funny, directed toward kids), sentimental and heart breaking (Up), some others completely turn your expectations around. What made those early PIXAR films great was John Lasseter who got fired from Disney. He is now working for Apple and his first film, Spellbound will be coming out later this year.

One of my favorite movies-- from the time I took my kids to go see it (an unnamed number of years ago.) It's just a fun movie. Don't forget to watch the scenes in the credits, they had a lot of fun making outtakes.

There's so so many great Pixar movies, here are just a few I really like. (Toy Story)(Hercules)( Robin Hood/ 1973 version)(Jungle Book)(Ratatouille)(The Emperor's New Groove)(Dinosaur)(The Iron Giant)(Shark Tales)(Over The Hedge)..... There's just too many to list but definitely would love to see more Pixar and Disney reactions 👍

Greetings Ms. Biss! That was a great reaction to Monsters Inc.! And yeah... UP! is a hard one to top (the unstoppable flow of tears in that first 15 minutes sets you up for the roller-coaster ride to come, it breaks everyone)! Megamind is a hoot! Other great titles from Disney/Pixar (besides Toy Story) would be ZOOTOPIA, BIG HERO 6, INSIDE OUT, The INCREDIBLES 1 & 2, and Disney's TANGLED! These Titles will battle it out for your 5 Star Rating... ✌😋 I still remember your laughter filled reactions to the KUNG FU PANDA series of films, so I know you are in for a treat with all of these titles for different reasons! @BissFlix, this is the first reaction that I've seen of yours where you were laughing constantly. I love the creativity of this movie and seeing how the monster world works. My favorite scene is the Abominable Snowman. "Welcome to the Himalayas!" "Snow cone?" "Oh, I just assumed you were buddies, when I saw you two hugging each other..." Hilarious! The early Pixar/Disney movies were some of the best they made. You will have a tough time finding a movie that is better than or equal to "Up", however you should definitely watch the Toy Story series of films. Toy Story 2 & Toy Story 3 are on a completely different level, and are incredible films. It's great to see you enjoying these movies. We need to see you laugh more, as it brings such joy to all of us. You're awesome, Biss! Keep the reactions coming!

Definitely recommend "Megamind." It didn't get nearly as much love as it should have, when it released. It got overshadowed by "Despicable Me," but it's a phenomenal movie.

Some notes/observations: - Randall (the chameleon monster) was voiced by Steve Buscemi, who played Mr. Pink in Reservoir Dogs - Sully is a common nickname in the US (especially in the Boston area) for people with the last name of Sullivan - I knew someone named Mike Rogowski, and I had to keep reminding myself "his last name's Rogowski not Wazowski"... - I like how Sully's armchair has a hole for his tail - I was also completely stunned when I saw the area with all of the doors - George carrying a watermelon and sledgehammer at the end of the film is a reference to the American comedian Gallagher

A truly great movie, a lovely hostess, and some sweet reactions. I was one of those kids giving them trouble. I remember my older sister and I were alone when our parents went to a dinner of some kind. We weren't kids, I was probsbly 13, my sister 17. She was a horror movie junkie. On the menu, Friday the 13th, 1, 2, and 3 back to back. Just as the last one ended, we heard a quiet "thump" from the bathroom. This got our attention. I decided a mass killer in a hockey mask would come througb a door, or window, not materialize in the bathroom. I walked over just as one of our housecats exited, looking rumpled and annoyed. She had been asleep on a stack of towels in the bathroom closet, rolled over, and got dumped.

I always wonder how much time passed from when they left Boo to when they finally put her door back together and saw her again. Maybe years? Sort of like how Peter Pan finally went back to see Wendy and she was all grown up.

There’s a theory that all Pixar films are in the same universe. This movie is in the distant future when humans have evolved into monsters. The doors are fixed distance time portals to the human days. During the time these portals reached the human world during the Black Plague, there would have been real reason to be concerned about the safety of being around children and over 800 years, the reason for that fear would be greatly embellished to the point that just having a child’s sock would be reason to fear. Having a child would be like bringing an asp into our house. Even if it didn't make an agressive move, it's still something to be scared of and want to be rid of. 32:48 I think that’s supposed to be Louisiana more so than Florida. It has a Cajun feel to it. 35:48 in the end, amortizing to the theory, Boo discovered magic and was using it to look for Sully for the rest of her life, winding up as the old witch in Brave.

You should look at Paddington Bear ... especially #2, #1 was very good and I haven't seen #3 yet. But Hugh Grant was Priceless in 2...the whole story makes me smile.

A true classic! I always tear up watching the scene where Sully has to say good-bye to Boo. And Billy Crystal, Smoogly Bear/Mike, is a comedy legend. If you'd like another hilarious Billy Crystal movie I strongly recommend "City Slickers" (1991)

Think about it... The little girl in this movie could have been Biss as a young girl!! Lol This movie always gives me a good laugh! Mike and Sully are a great team! Boo (Biss) is so cute as the brave little girl. Luv it when she call Sully- kitty! Lol great cast with Billy crystal and john Goodman! Oh and steve buscemi as Randall. Another good pixar movie to watch is "Cars". Or for more billy crystal watch "City Slikers"! Thanks for sharing Biss ❤️💛

Hi Biss I am just discovered your channel. Monster Inc was one of my favorite childhood movies. I wonder if you'd like to watch the Sopranos one day. It's by far the best Mafia TV show ever made and since I just saw you watching and enjoying Goodfellas I am very sure you'd like it and you'll meet a lot of the actors again.
