Hi Everyone, Today we add the Bafang M600 to the Leader board on our Hill Climb Challenge. How will it do against all the other eBike motors we have tested so far?

I agree with Chris below. I have an M600 750W on my Luna X1. I have ridden all the major motors and the m600 is MUCH faster. The only one that came close is the new Yamaha motor on the Giant. I just love that I can get parts and fix it unlike the others. 1200 miles and no issues on my set up! I also like the 14.5 firmware with just 3 power levels.

Good tests, whats the story with the imports and builds that you’re looking at selling?

I love our M600 motors and best of all I will be able to find them for quite some time yet.

Please a similar test with the Bafang M620 which has 160 Nm. This test shows that this engine is not as powerful as indicated by its parameters. It has 120 Nm, it should be much stronger than the competition. Probably it all depends on the driver settings that the software has. If you regulate it well there, it would probably get there in a minute. It is known that such a test is reliable when the weather conditions are the same, because it is enough that the wind will blow 5 km/h more and the time will be different in just 3-4 seconds. Overall, a nice test and I will be following the next ones, maybe as I wrote with the M620 engine. Best regards and hopefully more tests :)

Yes M620 test will be completed in a few weeks, We hope to do some tuning on the M600 to get some more power out if it in future.

Great to see a new player in motors. Any idea what bikes might use it?

I’ve had a Bafang M400 for three years… 11,000 kms later and all I’ve had to do was pull it apart for a regrease…

Currently its most commonly found in Chinese branded ebikes such as these frey.bike/ I expect we made see if it more bikes in future.

i climb 45degree inclines at 24mph on stock m600 for 1 mile in 2minutes and 48 seconds in PAS 3 out of 5
@JoLe19912 ай бұрын
45° is 100% incline. I think you can barely walk up such a hill, and clearly not ride up at 24mph. i have a 160Nm motor and it will happily ride up 30% incline at 12-14kph, but anything steeper will make you fall off the back of your bike

in PAS MOde 1 I climb at 15mph-17mph and thats only 250 watts of the 750watts available. These comparisons, are not at peak power or you guys are peddling slow, I don't get it. I'm on stock FLX f5 Trail with M600 Max of 750Watts of power with 120NM torque, the older m600 was 95nm now there 250watt M500 puts out 95nm and the m600 running 3.2 controllers is output of 750. Should be 1 mile climb, at max power to get a quality comparison 1mile climb with minimum power, & 1 mile climb throttle only. Bafang power alone will destroy every motor on your list. But get on really technical stuff & the newest BOSCH with ABS Outsigns all of the competition. Also, Look up Italian motor maker LUCA.
