@@Michael-jq8iq i mean, like it or not a normal life (given you make enough money and aren't working shit tons of overtime) is far less stressful, pro gamers put in at least 2000hrs before they see any results whatsoever and constantly have to practice as much as their opponents are (which is anywhere from 4-12hrs, 7 days a week) or they risk losing their career. They gain close to zero transferrable skills. Obviously mango doesn't really experience that anymore as he's built up enough of a following to quit melee but he's also streamed 10 hours a day 7 days a week for how long? playing professional is not anywhere near the same as normal gaming. It is not relaxing, it is not mindless and it is certainly not low effort. let's contrast that to a day job, oh, you experience minor stress while you learn the job, then as long as you're not an 80iq sock, mindlessly go through the day for as long as you want to maintain the position, you experience zero competition, you experience zero risk of career loss, you guarantee your future and you don't work fuck tons of hours for not that great of money. yeah, you're bored, but bored is good, bored means you aren't operating at insane amounts of focus for extremely long periods of time. I'm not gonna defend established streamers though, sure they work fuck tons of hours as well and have some downsides, but it's nowhere near the same as having your livelihood reliant on being the top .00001%

100% straight up incompatible

the awkwardness makes the episode better though imo. Two very different people, even after knowing each other for so long, but brought together by Melee. And even though they flame each other a lot in this video, you can tell there's a level of mutual respect that didn't used to exist between them. Melee wouldn't be what it is without either of these guys and it's so great to see how much their relationship has developed to the point where Mango is willing to come onto Hbox's show

And despite this they somehow keep it rolling smoothly.

But they are chilling tbh, like, they know their chemistry

I'd call it spicy. That frosty relationship of those two gave me some laughs.
