This challenge in CK2 (H.I.P) is much harder but much less structured, i mean here you have a clear path on how ti rebuild a zoroastrian Persia, in CK2 you are left on your own to figure it out

You start as a weak vassal under Muslim rulers and have to somehow take control of a duchy to go independent without getting revoked and then you have to tangle with a bunch of big boy muslim nations to expand in the dejure land of the kingdom and empire of persia@@blodhevn2353

Now we gotta see you do haestin going to the azores getting the mountain culture,temporarily getting into Spain and picking up the legacy unique to that, hopping into sardina and getting the silver mine, then to crete and Cyprus, and finally here to establish get involved, pick up the Georgian culture for the amazing heavy cavalry, kahazmiri culture for horse archers and then conquer the area to establish Persian with rune stone zoastrianism, get mad somewhere along the line for glass houses and stack the culture bonuses from the azores culture, common lands and all the others for massive dev growth, then conquer byzantium and Italy and reestablish yourself as Rome {I don't think you can reestablish Carthage can you? Coz it would be funny to have all that as empire with Carthage in charge, in fairness they did start in phoenicia}.

I remeer playing as the Bavandids in CKII. I just used the secret religion feature to convert everyone in the Caliphate and than married myself to the top, later conquering the entire east of the map and settling the steps as well as installing a Bavandid on the throne of China.
