Once your capital was in Asia couldn't you just no-CB vassalise one of the Indonesian minors and seize a province from them/conquer an adjacent province (being able to core it because its adjacent to a subject's core on your home continent), and then be in range for Australia. Might be quicker than waiting for the colonial range from Explo 3 to do your Charter Trade Companies?

Crazy cook! As always! It was never a competition. For your eyalet strategy, I run into a hurdle after a few decades with ottomans (you have +200 relations with every Muslim country, so you get a stab hit on declaring war due to good relations). Do you have any tips/ideas how to help mitigate this?
