I figured out the glide bomb! Go in at a shallow angle from mid-level height, no rudder. The bomb goes exactly where your 3rd person reticle is aiming, wait for full release and pull out of there. Should be on target every single time. If you are too far out, it will nose down or detonate mid-air of course, but they are very effective against those Type 10 cannons

If anyone is confused on the plane variants, the blue one is supposedly the bomber (left tree upgrades), and the white corsair is the fighter plane. Imo it should be switched.

Nicca, the white spirals caused by the supercharger are the propeller blades starting to cause water vapor to become visible. Much like a cloud, the low pressure zones behind the wing tips cause water to form a visible 'cloud' which spirals along with the propeller moving through air.

the white "smoke" you see appearing in front of your wings when using the supercharger is a real, natural occurrence. Most commonly seen on planes, when their speed approaches or breaks the sound barrier small white clouds are visible. When approaching the sound barrier they appear in front of the vehicle and after breaking the barrier they appear just behind or on the trailing edge of the vehicle. It's incredible to watch the real thing.

After months and months of watching you in awe, and always being frustrated myself because i find it so hard on PS4 to control the planes, even just staying on someone tale or dropping bombs in the right places... and of course, getting shot down by enemy fighters or AAs. I finally made some progress today, playing as Japan on Iwo Jima, 4x high explosive guns, incendiary bombs, spotting flares (which help me spot the enemy cus im trash) but after weeks of getting killed and being frustrated, i went 52-2 and MVP, it might seem small to others but damn, it was so fun. Just wanted to say thanks for all the videos and tips, you da real MVP, Nicca!

I think the glide bomb can be a pretty strong weapon, it depends on experience and skill

I like how it's a supercharger instead of wep and water methanol mixture to increase pressure and therefore power and speed. And the zero gets out turned by a F4 instead of energy fought.

9:51 On Iwo at considerable altitudes it's oftentimes the engine noise of the C-47's overhead. Has lured more into more than one dogfight with a nonexistent opponent.

That drift that you’re compensating for is your plane yawing towards the ground because you came in at a 90° bank on the target at 8:50. You should try to level the wings and aim directly at the target to hit it with the glide. Also using a controller seriously helps

I once was the last guy on a server vs 5 Japanese. Naturally took the corsair to fight the planes. Most epic kill: Guns overheating, target flaming and slowing down. Finished by a controlled wing clipping, yielding me the kill. They did a really good job on the pacific planes and the upgrade paths. I wish they'd make all vehicles have more upgrade tiers.

Glide bomb is fairly easy.. the crosshairs in the planes sight are the same shape as the glide bomb, showing wings and rear fins pointing diagonally downwards.. If you line up and release it as long as you are travelling straight and not drifting the bomb flies true. You can do this from quite a distance away to take out anti air.. or mountain targets

You should try the dogfighting spec (right middle middle right right middle) on the "bomber" variants, it absolutely destroys anything in the air, and is still good at killing infantry. In one game, I was able to down 40 enemy aircraft while never being shot down.

Glide bomb is just a learning curve, to learn how to aim it properly start with stationary targets and bomb it further and further at different angles, after about a day I got pretty good with it and probably get at least one kill 80 percent of the time and out of those half are 3 or more, I’ve gotten seven as the record

You should try to see what the glide bomb will do to planes about to take off, that are still on the ground, if it will just damage them a lot, or completely destroy them, I’m curious how that would work

In case you were wondering, those circles are caused by tip vortices formed by the propeller. Basically, the inside (facing you) of the propeller forms a low pressure area, while the outside (facing away from you) becomes a zone of high pressure. This difference in pressure around the prop, when great enough, causes the temperature around the plane to drop and moisture in the air to condense as it rotates, making it visible to the naked eye. The Glide bomb is awesome, IMO: quite precise, when compared to the effect it has. A powerful Anti-tank weapon, and also allows for long range bombing (if you don't dive bomb), I use it to kill AA while staying out of range

Both of my great grandfathers where in WW2 one was in the Army in the 7th infantry division in the pacific theater and the other was in the Navy also in the Pacific theater he was in Pearl Harbor during the attack but escaped later in 1945 he got the purple heart after getting hit by a Japanese kamikaze.

Key to being a good AA is being attentive and knowing angles of attack. I stay on the AA because that's what I'm good at. Air superiority is easy when you have a half decent guy on an AA, it only takes one.

The glide bomb seems designed to used speed, so if you dive a target from a steep angle it might do more damage.
