Brian Shaw recently trained with Eddie Hall to give an update on his training for Armwrestling. How does it look?

Only Ryan Blue Bowen can defeat Levan. It's his destiny !!!!
@ArmwrestlingAcademiaАй бұрын
I've heard gossip that he has done many times behind the scenes, because after every victory against a nobody like Larratt, Levan thinks he can beat Blue. (He never does)

I think Brian should do some tournaments, feel like that’s a good thing to start people in because you get to face a good variety of opponents

After 2 years of good training Brian would destroy Levan, then wake up, and then get destroyed by Levan

We need to see it, either way. Start a crowdfund to fly Brian to Georgia.

It would be cool to see them against lightweights (you mentioned Janis) maybe to create interest from fitness/general audience ("small guy beats strongest man on the planet!"). Which reminds me of Irina Gladkaya recently pulling the slapping champ (Vasily Kamotsky), have you seen it?

For starters Brian's grip strength is probably the best in the World. Even against other strongmen he's thrashed them in challenges. Yep Devon is apparently visiting Brian soon. Once he gets some proper tutoring the sky is the limit. No limits. :D

He's gonna have to train like a psycho to even stop Daniel propocuic

Biggest thing for him to be competitive now is to get speed. He'll be way behind the go against people with thousands of reps
@rob00024 күн бұрын
They need to stop hyping people up before they've accomplished anything in the sport. Brian is not an arm wrestler and it will take years for him to reach the top level if he ever does.

I thought so too because his hands look small in comparison to his body but check out his videos where he compares his hand size to that of others. You might change your opinion.

People are saying that Brian will destroy Levan in just a couple of years. But i would say that Brian would need atleast 3 years of dedicated armwrestling before he can even face him in a fair match. Then he would need 1 or 2 years on top of that before he can beat Levan. Brian is big and strong but he lacks the strength in his connective tissues and that takes time to build. He is also lacking the experience. Some have said that Denis got good very fast. He did get good fast, but the level of the sport was not as high then as it is today. I doubt that Denis will be as dominant now.
@jayclean5653Ай бұрын
Brian would need 5 years just to appear fluidnon the table.

@@jayclean5653 Nah, that will take less than a year

@markbanner6473Ай бұрын
According to articles 3 to 5 years to be at pro arm wrestler standard. But some people can do it quicker. Brian could easily do it in 2. He'd still only be 44. 3 years time he could beat Levan imo.
@sonyx4500Ай бұрын

@jayclean5653Ай бұрын
@@LagiaArm I dont think these people understand how different armwrestling and strongman is as far as where the strengths lay. A perfect example is that pseudo fake match between Vytautas Lalas and Eddie Hall. Eddie is clearly the "stronger man", yet he can't budge Lalas whos been out of armwrestling for 20 years.
@g-man2507Ай бұрын
An even better candidate for arm wrestling would be the powerlifer Petr Petras. He does 353 x 3 cheat curls. Petras does not have anywhere near the name recognition as Brian Shaw so the opportunity costs of starting a brand new sport probably won't be as great.
@nickbase8028Ай бұрын
You guys are hyping up stuff on the internet again & again... Larry, Khaled (i might write it wrong), Kirill, and others... You always rush things saying that this is the new star and he can be top 10 very soon and even beat Levan 'cause there's a potential... But we still haven't even seen something serious, let's wait. Maybe he will compete once, gets destroyed and go right back home starting doing his usual stuff... You were betting on Larry a lot like "he's a great powerlifter and if he learns how to use his strength on the table he'll get unstoppable" etc. And don't get me wrong please, just leave those hopes alone and see the real picture Now there's only if, if, if ...
@Mike-gi1dkАй бұрын
Lmao AW is like boxing. Theres many many levels. And regardless of strength or natural talent, you cant start this late and beat the best. Levan would smash brian like a prom date and then pick his teeth with his wrist bones.
@techieman4614Ай бұрын
Not with Levans strength, Brian won't reach 300Lbs curls.. no way.
@demonichunter792525 күн бұрын
This is hilarious lol, your forgetting the fact that he never hardly trains those movements and is already stronger than 95% of the human population. A few months of just working out, Brian would be shitting on any number levan throws, the arm wrestling specific ones will take about a year or two.

He needs to compete heavily and I think it's still a stretch. Look at Larry Wheels for example. Everyone thought the same about Larry. It takes a ton of experience to retain your access to power against veteran armwrestlers. YEARS worth.
