I think it's cuz when it's a more common appliance she tries to go really fancy and that's why it doesn't work. Like in this episode if she had actually tried to use it like a frier for some of the components, she would've done better.

I can relate to the basket being small. If you are making a meal for yourself, an air fryer is great. But if you have guests or a family with more then 2 people, it is very inefficient.

@@dsholt it's too aggressive for stuff with batter to cook through. It gets the outside done first. wet batter stuff in general does not work in an air fryer well

The best part about this series is that she has had the most trouble with a microwave and an air fryer. This is a chef that can cook a 3-course meal on an iron but she struggles with normal kitchen appliances. LOL!

fun fact! i really enjoy using air fryer especially baking pastry goods like croissant 😋 it actually came out really beautiful with crisp on the outside and buttery softness in the inside! soooo good!!! and also, heating a slice of bread in the airfryer is also rlly nice, they keep the middle soft and airy when the outside of the toast is crunchy asf you guys def should try it
