This case is really nicely laid out and clean cable runs can be easily achieved. Haven’t built a computer in over 10 years and things have come a long way. I wasn’t too keen on getting tempered glass RGB anything, but cost/ performance balance kept narrowing my selections down to this style as it’s the most common available.

I got this case in a MSI prebuilt Aegis ZS ... the 120AIO busted after 8 mo. of very light use - CPU hitting 100c - so sent in to MSI for RMA... I am happy to have found this, because I was thinking to not re install whatever they send me, and instead put a 360 up front, but never seen it done, with my case - so thank you for this vid!

I am mid process of an install with this case. The pwr for the 3 front fans works with the daisy chain. What did you do with the rear fan pwr, just plug into a header on the mb? I don't see how it is linked with the front 3 (if that is even a thing). Next (and related), I have a CM 212 rbg cooler. The pwr connects to the cpu fan. But where do you put the rgb cable? Does it somehow connect to the rgb controller of the case? There is an extra pin on it, I think. I have an argb on the mobo (Asus Tuf gaming pro 570x wifi 6), which I assume the case argb controller goes into. If I plug in the cm212 rgb into the mobo regular rgb, it won't be controlled with the case fans, right?

Good job! I was wondering how to take the front panel off the entire time I had the case. Glad my question was answered and I managed to clean the front panel dust filter before it clogged up. On a side note that might not be relevant to others, an Intel Core i9-10940X cooled by an MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240R in the Gungnir 110R maxes out at 80 degrees Celsius when clocked to 4.1 GHz on all cores while running Cinebench R23. I just built a computer using this case and yes, airflow is an issue. The cpu gets up to 80 Celsius. I think the problem is the front panel, I’m gonna remove it and see how it works.

I know he mentioned it, so maybe just didn't include that in the vid? I am planning to modify my MSI pre build that has this case, and do exactly that - replace sucky 120 rear aio for another brand 360 up front, and use the case fans wherever I can...

@@Realhardwarereviews I actually got a Ryzen 5 5600 not the X because it’s basically same performance when overclocked a bit (and i saved like 50€ by going for the non-X). I have not bought the graphics card yet tho since the prices went going down so i decided to wait. I have a MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Gaming X for now (got it for cheap from my friend) but soon i am going to get a 3060 or a 3060 Ti. For motherboard i chose the MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK and for my CPU cooler i got a MSI MAG Coreliquid 240R V2.

11:46 you should REALLY not place your radiator that way : since any air inside will rise to the top, the water has to push through it when getting in, which produces gurgling noises and wears out the material faster. you should place your radiator with the pipe entry at the bottom rather than at the top in order to avoid this :)

Did you look at the case before writing this comment? There is no other way to mount it.
@ashnthree
@ashnthree 2 жыл бұрын
that is the best spot yes, but it wont really matter as long as the pump is not higher then then the radiator. If you place where the pipe runs up you would barely notice a difference.
