Is it true that Alienware are terrible because of their overheating problems and throttling? I've always loved the design and aesthetics but never got the courage to buy one because everyone I ask tells me they overheat a lot and lead to throttling problems.

This one with the 4060 actually has stopped me from builing a gaming pc. There's no upgrade new gpu i can put that'll beat the 4060 while being worth the cost for under $300. So basically any gaming pc under $1000 right now can't beat this laptop's performance.

Funnily enough it's easy to improve it too. Just yesterday I bought one of them for $20 (my current mouse weighs like 135g, though is a good mouse, basically completely unknown though, and there's an article on ESReality if you want to confirm that I actually sometimes do know wtf I'm talking about), I've got a deathadder mini, etc. If it has the sort of honeycomb thingies it'd be even better, I bet.

I see a very promising auction for this card used and I think this video made it the 3070 I'm gonna go for, I am coming from a very high quality but large 3-fan Asus ROG strix 1070ti GPU and I really want a nice two fan card whilst still getting comparable acoustics and thermals (to avoid sag). I didn't think it was possible, but this proved me wrong! I hope I get a good deal on this card specifically!

Wonder if 280mm radiator fits on top from Arctic. MSI states on their site max 240mm radiator or 280mm fans. But it looks like it would fit

There is a version with a dedicated gpu, but the integrated one is actually pretty good this generation. The one with the GPU is called the MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio and it goes up to a 4070

Don't push it to the limit everyday and use a cooling pad. Easy as abc. Clean the fans once a year as well.

Its just perfect timing actually because BestBuy are sell these for much less at the moment(bought mine last Black Friday 2023) for CA$1800. Also most YT reviewers skipped this 2023 model for some reason.

have nearly the same laptop. i have a swedish 15,6 OLED display. a Intel i7 1225u 4,7Ghz. 8 x 2 = 16Gb Ram. a 512Gb NVme SSD (qiuck as hell....same as the RAM). now.......IRIS Xe....IT ACTULALY WORKS. ive played BF3 (worked GOOD), BF5 (lower FPS), AWESOME Laptop. PS....(the price WAS - 1400 Euro from start......but i got it for 800 Euro).

@@MrLelopes I got an MSI gf65 and it did crap out on me for no reason while watching a video. I did the RMA thing and sent it in, got it back days later in perfect shape. People often complain about how their warranty policies, but getting my laptop fixed was the easiest thing I've ever done. The problem now is that it barely works and is out of warranty... My fault for barely taking care of it

@@corpingtons Valorant DOES NOT need ANYTHING that strong to run amazingly its incredibly well optimized. You can run it at around 100 fps medium settings with a 1650 ti.
