As a fellow biker idiots like this make us all look bad. Some of us just like to ride and for me it's an excellent way to put on the amount of miles I do and save a lot of gas. Not all of us are this reckless so please don't lump us all into that category.

@@D1NDH1SK I have no problem keeping up with cars. Both of my bikes are more than capable of 120+ and the only real reason I enjoy having a bike capable of that is because having the top end speed gives me the extra ability to maneuver around idiots and obstacles and also cruise to highways without having to redline the bike.

I personally experience more bikers driving recklessly weaving throughout traffic more than I see them speeding.

I always say speed kills, and being on a motorcycle is worse. You have no protection if there is an accident. Great footage. Have a great day and stay safe and well 😊.

Congrats, troopers got their cyclist, no one was hurt. Going 5-10mph over is speeding, 20mph over is carelessness, not only a ticket, how about impound cycle and suspend the license.

Some bikers yes. There are definitely groups of bikers who ride around just being idiots. Not all bikers though.

I would guess that he was told to throw the keys on the ground so there's no likelihood that he would be able to get them back to restart the bike. Note that the trooper picks them up so they are now in his possession.

I the UK in cities because of the huge numbers of mopeds used in snatch and grab robberies cops are allowed to knock them off their bikes at low speeds.

IDK what model Yahama that is, but aren't top speeds 140-160+ mph? Sheriff Fletcher says his fleet is governed at 130 mph and (iirc) State Patrol Chargers top out at 150 mph. But nothing can match the acceleration and maneuverability of crotch rockets. Tragically, that speed and agility too often overpowers the skill and brain cells of the rider.

GSD Alpha some years back I "helped" a customer with a sprocket change. He managed to hit the higest recorded speed in Minnesota's history. And that was the last time he was at our shop for any service. I do miss when the State, Sheriff, and local officer's came in for the monthly speed checks on the squads, and how I was "listed" as the bad boy when they came in monthly for speed check's. As for matching the accelation and speed of a bike, I bring you the pro-mod street cars in the area, from the guy's that don't act stupid on the street.

Just because the bike can do that doesn't mean the rider can. Any idiot can pull the throttle back and get up to speed but only a skilled Rider can do it without having to be scraped off the pavement with a spatula. Generally riders that have the skill also have the respect not the drive like a lunatic because they know the car is going to win every time.

Could outrun the State Patrols airship at that speed on a straight stretch. The only thing faster would be the cameras.

The best way to stop bikes, get more people that don't check mirrors when doing lane changes. It's a joke people, don't get bent out of shape. Thank's for the shows.

You don't recommend swatting at the cop? He has no right to take the keys. This is well established. The officer can order the rider / driver to turn off the ignition and hand over the keys. But cannot just take them. This is dangerous on a motorcycle as you have no clue as to how the rider will react, ie: bike is in gear, hand has the clutch disengaged. Hand comes off clutch as a reaction to prevent the keys from being taken.... now we have an injured rider, possibly injured officer, damaged bike, possibly damaged vehicles.

I live near the I-694/I-35E overlap. I hear motorcycles driving like this frequently. I have been riding for 50 plus years. I don’t ride like that. Here is something I never do: Compliments to the State Patrol.

put me on this guys jury, not guilty, no accident no punishment for thought crime probable cause is damage or destruction of property, injury or death, none of that happened, he was just getting out of the way of all the bad imported drivers let into this state. i do this all the time, just get the hell away from people who are about to kill or wreck you. he's on a bike, it would almost always be fatal for him to get hit by all the bad drivers that were handed licenses like it's water to drive speeding bullets and aim them at every one else.

Should have been arrested, bike impounded. No telling how many elderly drivers he might have surprised cutting in and out of traffic and passing with no warning who in turn lose control and cause other crashes.

That little sticker on the passenger side of the car makes that a marked car. There isn't one on the drivers side. A little trick the state patrol likes to play on the public.

Ok, he was going fast but I didn't see anything extraordinary........but I did see an aggressive police approach leaning heavily on just plain overkill. Write the ticket, tell the biker to be safe and go eat a donut with some Benadryl, but no coffee ! Coffee can make you hyper and hyper and police don't go well together !

A couple of notes: A motorcycle traveling in excess of 100 mph, and hitting even a small rock in the roadway, can easily lose control. Next stop: The morgue. A motorcyclist who thinks he or she can outrun a trooper in a V-8 Dodge Charger interceptor, is in for a shock. Even at speeds in excess of 160 mph, that trooper is still right on your tail.

You’re technically supposed to lose your license for a year going 100+ If only they would actually enforce it, maybe then these fools would take it down a notch. Plenty of track days opportunities around to swing your D and go fast.

Get this (!); I'm a retired LEO (30 YRS.). I've seen hundreds of motorcycle related deaths, because of speed and stupidity. I'm 68 years old, and ride a 'Super-Bike' crotch rocket.....but, one thing I don't do, is speed over the limit. The mind control is in the right side throttle hand-grip.

I did not see anything this Biker is doing that a lot of drivers do everyday and most just go there way. I really feel law enforcement targets bikes and I do not ride.

I honestly don't recall the last time a car blew by me doing over 100. Yes, I don't doubt it happens, but I've seen PLENTY more crotch rockets flying by.

@@livenotonevil8279 I live in North Minneapolis and on the highways around me it's very common to see cars flying by you at over 100. It's usually a charger or a Chrysler 300. Sometimes it's a Subaru.

@@livenotonevil8279 yeah I'm currently about to take a job where I can make five grand or more a week. A couple months of that I'll be able to just put a down payment on a house anywhere. I've been super blessed being able to get hooked up with this opportunity so I don't expect to be in this neighborhood too much longer.
