The animated style Mezco turtles look kind of bad actually. The proportions were clearly meant for the comic style, and these are clearly repaints.

Wrong, bruv! The TMNT isn't quite the same as the 1st one: it is severely lacking (in the accessories department). No cloth goods. None of the extra cool, unique items like Donnies goggles, gravity gauntlet, Mikeys walkman or the kunai/ninja throwing effects!! Only ONE spinning nunchacku...!! An unecessary amount of the same ole secondary weapons, though. Last time there were 3 now there is like 12!?! Which sucks. If I had more money than sense then I would buy the set just to get all 4 Turtles with their signature weapons, the 2 or 3 new weapon effects and the pizza w/box. The rest of the stuff can go!! It doesn't look to be worth the same amount of money as the 1st one, not by a long shot!! But it is Mezco, an 'exclusive', a variant, it's the TMNT in the 80's style, people will/have buy them up! We shall see if they include anything else that makes this set better.
