I remember one time, in an history exam, there was only like.... 10 questions multiple-choice questions. Easy. But the last one was an essay question XD Some people were losing their mind but that was actually easy for me. @@11thShadowDragon they already made it clear eddy is very smart. in terms of academics, there is no way. remember they said eddy was studying to become a doctor and took a seat from the top students just to prove to his parents his ability, so he could study music. no typical musician is going to beat eddy in general academics if u let them both study. ofc, a music lecturer or test marker probably could, but only at their own subject. basically, what we know is that in the academics side, within twoset, eddy will always be the representative. brett could be representative for violin playing. and notice eddy rants the longest in roasts. eddy is the q&a stuff imo. and notice eddy brags b4 the test. u can tell they know who the academic one is from their communication too. eddy acts like the marker.

Paul Wagner Luckily in physics (I guess upper level), everything is written in symbolic form (mostly Greek letters) so tracing back to that negative sign just takes a bit of work. It was known in my class that our very intelligent, but sometimes too excitable, Ukrainian physics professor would most likely have missed a negative sign somewhere, which was then given as an exercise for us to find that mistake

Random funny story about theory: I was taking my RCM Advanced Harmony exam a few years back. There are 4 questions, where question 1 is writing counterpoint, question 2 and 3 are SATB chorale/harmonization/harmonic analysis style, and question 4 is where they give you an opening of 2 bars and then force you to write a 12 bar piece following the opening, with certain restrictions on modulations and cadences. It's supposed to take 3 hours, which seems long, until you start writing it. Anyways, at some point I was getting pretty worried about time, and then I noticed something: one option (there are multiple options for the questions) for question 2 used the same excerpt as another option for question 3. I immediately proceeded to transpose my answer for question 2 onto question 3, and gained back a lot of time for myself. In all my 17 years of living, that was probably the biggest-brain move I've ever made on a test/exam.

I'm 80% sure that that's the paper I took last year for my Grade 5 Theory exam. I'm pretty sure I only just passed, but I did, so that's what matters! Edit: Funny to also here the Third Movement of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No 5 in the background, I studied it for my Music GCSE at a similar time as my theory exam. It was my favourite out of the two 'old' instrumental that we did (The other being Beethoven's Pathetique which is still a lovely piece) and became a bit of a meme in class for the beginning violin melody where it was repeated throughout the classroom if anybody sang it!
