Sylphie has a personality, she's just very plain and submissive in their relationship. She is prone to jealousy and as a bodyguard she can be cold and ruthless when the situation calls for it. But she suppresses all that when she's with Rudy because of what she believes a good wife should be like. Spending years with Ariel and Luke has also changed her perception of normalcy. But that doesn't show often. P.S.: Eris best waifu.

Anime cut way too much of Sylphy's development in the novels. Anime onlies have no idea how this body guard has more kills than Eris and Rudy combined. She's also extremely radical towards Ariel, despite knowing her manipulative nature. In fact, at this point in the story, Rudy concluded that, if push comes to shove, Sylphy will choose Ariel over him. Not what you would expect from Sylphy in the anime at all. She's also one of the only characters who can mess with Rudeus' head since he had to constantly read her mind since she doesn't say things herself. She has a really twisted sense of morality too because of her experiences, which conflicts with Rudeus' own. I'd say Sylphy is incredibly interesting, the anime just butchered it. It's frustrating because the purpose of her relationship with Ariel is that to show that she can stand without Rudeus, she's not co-dependent, Rudeus is. But that's not how it seemed in the anime at all.

How to say you're an anime only without saying you're an anime only. Nah it's not your fault though, Bind did Sylphie really dirty.

Name one distinct character trait that defined sylphie other than she likes redues 1) she has a close friendship with the princess Ariel and luke 2) she is a closet freak that has dirty thoughts like rudy 3) she learned to cook and learned healing magic from rudys moms after he was sent away 4) sylphie (as fits) was always helpful towards Rudy no matter what the situation was 5) she is probably the second strongest person in that school (she single handedly defeated linia ajd pursena when they first arrived to the school Like i agree shes the "worst" of the three but all three girls work with rudeus and have great characters that differentiate themselves from one another ie: goddess of love, wisdom, war

Eris is best girl but Sylphy is also great sad the anime cut out a lot of sylphies story.

Eris is interesting yes but pretty everything passed turning point 1 she does for rudy She wants to learn get stronger so shes not a burden She wants to "be" with rudy because at the time she felt he would dissapear and never return. In the light novel SHE CLAIMS TO WANT TO KILL THE DRAGON GOD I WONDER WHY HMMMMM???? 🤔

5:25 in fairness she thought about Eris since she didn't know that they were teleported together plus before teleportation Rudy spend more of his childhood life with Eris (ya know de facto PRINCESS) than with Sylphie and she was anxious that he wasn't looking for her

WOULD SAY THIS IS A HORRIBLE TAKE If we werent talking about the anime, the anime misstreated Sylphy SOOOOOOOOO MUCH, they literally took away her backstory and most of her personal charatheristics and reduced her to just a love interest, Since season one this has happened, LN had better contex on her.

I was going to say some stuff about my own opinion on best ship, but after the waiting for Eris reunion mention, I will not spoil the light novels myself (although I haven't finished them yet fully). But will say I am personally on team Sylphie.
