My name is Chris, I am a 3D printing hobbyist from australia. I dont really specialise in anything specific, but 3D printed tools and tabletop accessories are some things youll probably seen quiet often. I do all my 3d printing on a Ender 3, which I highly recommend as a budget printer. Currently I only run 1 printer but I hope to expand that in the future. Recently acquired a photon 0 to do resin printing with. I like to share all my 3D printing ideas for free although I do plan to sell stuff in the future. Most of my projects will be mostly 3D printed with a few non printed components included, these can often be found on ebay. I actually use the cheapest filament I can get for all my projects, again I hope to change this in the future.

More likely to be used for that is a Bic pen, not a pencil. VWestlife did a video on it, and did find the pencil that likely inspired the illustration of using a pencil in manuals, but besides Japan, the rest of the world used Bic pens.

As a cassette enthusiast, a few things worthy of note: The Compact Cassette standard is available via Google patents.. tried making my own version but gave up 😅. Instead of looking at brick-and-mortar stores, Facebook marketplace has proven to be am amazing source for vintage gear and media. There was once 10 metal tapes for around $2 each (an insane deal for those not in the know). Some recording tips: if you are recording with Dolby Noise Reduction don't forget to record at the Dolby symbol, and not 0DB.

Just don’t leave your tapes on the dash of that hot car! FYI “high speed dubbing” was a thing even on some home dual cassette decks. It just runs the tape faster while recording. All the cool kids swapping tapes said it wasn’t as good quality. I still have memories of some bands that don’t sound quite right listening today because I was so used to that hiss and warble vibe.

For faster music transfer, you'd need to find yourself something supports high-speed dubbing. Many stereos with two tape slots had this feature. More expensive equipment could work faster. On the other hand, finding the exact dubbing speed(s) for what you have, keeping quality high and getting it to work from an external input are all problems that would need to be solved. (Hint for the latter at least: An AUX-to-cassette adapter ought to work if nothing else does.)

@@not.spir0s Never said Australia didn't have any, but with how many small, isolated rural “towns” there are it’s very likely that perhaps they don’t have a record store near them.
