I am a national level Rugby player in India. And Rugby is a really minor sport here. In fact around 60% Indians don’t even know the difference between Rugby and American Football. But I still had no issues buying a Rugby ball offline in India. 😅

@@divyanshthakur2334 99% is really unrealistic. Because you do have Rugby players like me in India and the participation is increasing. And also Rugby is fastest growing sport in India. Many people actually do know that both Rugby and American Football are 2 different sports. If you want me to categorise I would say roughly 60% Indians don’t know the difference. Then 30% Indians know the difference out of which 15-20% actually play one of the 2 sports and the rest of them don’t even know about both sports.

You should visit India once, we have loads of cricket bats ranging from £2 to £200. Ranging from Kashmir Willow to English Willow and also local wood. They got many quality bats even in a local sports store, I got mine from there for £65.50 and it’s still going strong for 3 years and the best………..

There is a cricket store in New York named JR Sporting Goods. There are actually a few in New York. There is also a store named Cricket Zone USA where Chris Gayle came. Bro I can't compute you not finding a bat, in Dallas we got a place called EICA, an indoor facility that sells quality bats, we also have brands like Griffin, only sold in Dallas, by people who own them, these bats are good and are made then shipped in from England. Dallas is like the BIG BOY PLAYGROUND of cricket, with tons of academies, and coaches who formerly played for Jamiaca, or USA.

I'm sure you can find a decent bat in the States, but yeah a shopping mall probably isn't the right place. A few minutes of googling could've found you a cricket store about 20 minutes drive away from the Jomboy offices, where you could find bats ranging from nicer to a lot nicer than whatever that thing was!
