Is it possible to beat Borderlands The Pre-Sequel as a bunch' Cry-Babies? What if we tried it on Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode? Can we beat Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode as 4 Claptraps? Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands the Pre-sequel, and Borderlands 3 all have guns that can get pretty wacky, but wacky doesn't always mean good. In this challenge run, we try to beat the game with only The Cry Baby Assault Rifle! Want to see me try this challenge with a different gun, grenade, or shield? Comment below on what gun, grenade, or even shield I should try next! Any gun in any game (Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2, Borderlands the Pre-Sequel, Borderlands 3, or Wonderlands!)
Borderlands and The Binding of Isaac are my favorite 2 games of all time, so when I found out there was an assault rifle that was a reference to The Binding of Isaac in the pre sequel I was pretty excited, well until I found out that it kinda sucks. But to heck with that, Isaac Online Coop is coming out soon, so what better way to celebrate than with a good old Coop challenge. Today we ask Can You Beat Borderlands The Presequal as a bunch of cry babies. For the basic rules we are going to play at level 70 Ultimate vault hunter mode, BAR will not be allowed, and we will only be allowed to use the crybaby assault rifle. If you don’t know what this gun does, well uh it depends, (skip ahead a bit) The gun can spawn with 2 different unique barrels, 2 unique weapon accessories, and 2 unique elements, for a total of 8 unique combinations, and that not including all the variants when you get a normal element or accessory. Each one is different just like each run in Isaac is different. To keep it simple we will only be using variants with the cool unique parts, minus the default shot barrel because wobbly bullets are fun. This leaves 4 parts combos and each of us will use a different version. Speaking of each of us, let's meet our band of crybabies. (pop pop pop) Our journey begins on Helios space station which is currently under attack by some Insane Dahl military forces. Things were a bit rough at the beginning, we had to get used to the low-to-ground POV, our unpredictable action skill getting us killed, and some very unclear mission objectives. Upon starting our first few fights the chaotic nature of this run became apparent. Tears flying everywhere on top of the random nature of claptraps action skill make it so you can't really plan for anything, a majority of his action skills affect every player, some combos can be extremely strong while others can be quite unfortunate. Frist among our D Tier Action skills is blightbot which has claptrap throw out a siren-style minion that flies around and burns and corrodes enemies. Anyway after saving Jack Thom almost cut the challenge short by killing Zarpedon during her intro cutscene using the pirate ship Actionskill more on that one later. After that, we pushed through the station until we met our first boss Flame Knuckle. We all activated our action skills and the true chaos began. I rolled Gun Wizard which doubles the fire rate, reload speed, and mag size of everybody’s guns, it also completely refills our ammo reserves. alone this skill is an A tier bu

i have beat the pre sequel multiple times with clap trap, most of which ended with me not stopping till i was max level before starting a new run. i have never touched the sub routines tree at all 😂😂

@@GelatinCoffee Uhh... VaultHunter.exe, the action skill is the first sub-routine. In fact, all the skills he ranked on that tier list are all his sub-routines. They’re unlocked via different skills in each of the 3 different trees. Just to clarify.

Honestly I appreciate the fact that the Cry-Baby is probably one of the most unique weapons in the franchise with how many factors effect the gun. It even seems like the devs did their homework when making the thing.

@@sugoha_2548 Unfortunately. That's my one issue with the franchise. In end game, only 5 or so weapons are good on any given character. It's a lot better in BL3 since Mayhem 10 is nowhere near as bullshit as OP 8/10

A lot of underrated in this video for me! I think TPS is very underrated, I honestly found it to be a fairly large improvement over BL2, and if it had more content I probably would have considered it a straight upgrade. And Claptrap... I honestly came to really like him. I almost always ended up getting something useful for his action skill. Almost. I did get bounced out of cover right into EOS' laser a couple of times. The Crybaby really is a very poor weapon, though. I commend your decision to retain your sanity by making this a group challenge, it would have been miserable solo. As a side note, the Sentinel is probably my favourite boss intro in the series. Just a silent, surprisingly human-sized alien walking down a staircase it is casually conjuring for that purpose, and without a single word beginning to beat your arse. It felt incredibly cool.

I got an interesting BL2 challenge Beat Borderlands 2 without committing a war crime? Some of the rules I know for certain that would apply are the following... - (Optional) Start at Lvl 1 as Axton - Nothing Elemental. Any weapon, shield, grenade, or skill that involves such would be banned - Bandit and Maliwan weapons/items are prohibited. Maliwan due to the above rule, and Bandit due to their weapons being makeshift. - If an enemy is strapped to a Nomad's shield, it must be freed. Only attack them if they're agro on you. - Technical is only to be used for the main quest. Otherwise, you must use the Runner

I just looked it up and yes enemies can spawn with rare weapons; even legendary weapons. You get some unique crazy playthroughs with enemies holding legendary weapons and using them against you in Borderlands 2.

casting gun is the best going gunzerk though is my most hated & my little brother's most hated effect 😂😂, whenever i roll that one he immediately is like "UGGHHHHHHH great i guess i'll just waste all of my ammo. thanks ben"

you can melee and swap guns but yeah its pretty annoying still

8:33 I ply a lot of Fl4k in Bl3 and when you shoot while walking forwards in the action skill you’re legally blind so sometimes a actually don’t notice if the enemy dodged until I mag dumped the floor again
