Can I beat Elden Ring as a Crucible knight? I can only wear Crucible Knight armorsets, I can only attack using crucible weapons/incantations. I may only equip a non-crucible knight item if only used for support purposes.

For everyone who is about to comment: - yes I know “now” that evergaol is pronounced “ever-jail” - that’s crucible knights are closer to black knights than silver knights - that I miss-spelled “refrain” as “reframe” - and I specifically didn’t use “the breath” incantation because it is just down-right terrible at PVE If you were gonna comment any one if these things, you aren’t the first 😂 Anyways, thank you guys for pointing out my mistakes 😂😂 I found it so funny that so many of you found all these mistakes lmao

A cool little idea would’ve been to summon the mimic tear while wearing the crucible tree armor and wielding the tree, then swap to the crucible axe armor and wield the greatsword (and the shield if you want). That way you become the poorly designed duo boss. Vice versa would also work.

Siluria's Tree has always been one of my favorite weapons. Not only is it visually badass and mechanically fun, but Siluria's Woe does killer damage in the most literal sense.

This would have been the perfect build to take advantage of commander Nialls slowness in phase 1. He only starts phase 2 if you kill both phantoms, or he reaches 50%hp, at which point he removes the phantoms himself. Could've had an easier fight by running away from the soldier and sniping Niall Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

The wild variants of the wolf of radagon also use sorceries but do not use the sword attacks. So the red wolf of radagon was never taught sorceries but instead swordsmanship.

Great video! I’ll admit that I’m disappointed you never picked up the aspect of the crucible: breath. The flames could have been useful against the holy resistant bosses. It’d be a pain in the ass to beat Rykard though, so it’s understandable.

Was it really that good? I remembered killing rykard off-screen (serpent hunter) and not using the spell cause it did like 100 damage on normal enemies XD.

About the Radagon Talisman, it's effect doesn't alter charge time, so it's basically worthless for crucible spells, but for ones that can't be charged it's great.

That is not true at all, sorry to say. It absolutely make charging spells faster. And it works as intended with crucible spells. All spells can be charged, and all spells are affected by radagon talisman. The only reason you can hardly notice is because your cast speed only inproves at 40 and 70 virtual dex, 70 is much faster.

The Radagon Icon only affects initial cast time by means of giving virtual Dexterity, but does not speed up the charge time of spells. It's best used for spells/incantations that you chain cast when you're not running a build with high Dex. It's not ENTIRELY useless in a Crucible build, as it'll make the startup faster on casts, but since they do not chain, it's not as big an affect as a build with Beastial Sling would have.

Evergaol is pronounced like everjail. Gaol is an archaic way of spelling jail and the people in the evergaol are prisoners trapped in them.

The maiden seemed to actually be trying to heal you. AI is limited and so it seems to expect you to be near the boss.

19:06 You dodged in the direction the attack was going, so your hurtbox was still in its hitbox. Happens all the time in older Monster Hunter games.

Short answer is Yes. My second playthrough was as a Crucible Knight. Just finished the video. You definitely did a harder run then me. I just started NG+ with all the gear.

fun fact: you can cancel the falling star beast out of his charge when you hit the head with a heavy attack or incantation (at least the mature one, so i think the same should apply to the one in the mine)

at least the second crucible knight that you had to kill was way easier than the first, kinda helps with being able to 'convince' them that there was a really cool helmet plumage just waiting for him to fly down and claim it for himself.

I absolutely loved the crucible knight concept and when I found out you can have the full set, that was my first objective. And yes I did beat the game with the full set on, I loved using the fire breath incantation against the scarlet rot boss, (sorry forgot how to spell the name) mainly because it would let me have a chance to stagger her, and the sword I have had this whole spinning affect ti instantly stagger her if every second if the attack coutns

You're awesome dude! Awesome to see players doing enemy based weapon classes. One thing I like doing is called a "Bloodborne" type of class, were I would have a two weapons that would mimic each other in appearance and skills. I.E. The Godskin double lance with the Godskin heavy rapier. I would change between these as if they were "transforming". Really cool to see you doing "type-based" challenges, super awesome! Great content, keep it going!

If I'm not mistaken the faster cast rate is for consecutive spells. First one is always gonna be slow but the second and third are faster.

Would be nice if their armor actually had decent poise and the fire breath dealt better damage. I fought the farum one last night on my 5th character with dual twin blades and eleonoras ash somehow dropped him for a critical twice in a row, then he punished me. The next 3 tries I never dropped him once. Consistency sucks
