fun fact i found Kiwami 2 very hard to play bare hand, and when i noticed that weapon heatactions are more easier to use and they deal more damage, i switched to them and completed the whole game.

I pretty much did this challenge during my legend mode playthrough when I went platinum. I used the fire can thing that you get from the lockers, which is kinda over powered because it doesn't run out of durability if you use Y/triangle to do the heavy attack.

For those doing this challenge, Tthere are weapons with infinite durability you can get. the easiest is to sell 5million yen worth of goods to kamiyama. If you do the club minigame, you can easily make enough money to buy a lot of the expensive katanas from the pawn shop, then just sell those off. Absolutely trivialises the game, especially the dagger. Channel you're inner mad dog of Dogima

Word of advice to anyone wanting to do a weapon only run of Kiwami 2: You can obtain Dragon Sticks from Ukyo the Bridge Guard, a street boss in Sotenbori. They've got infinite durability, but you'll need to reach Chapter 8 in order to unlock Kali Stick mastery. In my opinion, the infinite kali sticks are a bit middling attack wise. Prudent use of muscle soda (any attack boosting soda really.) and strong attacks will make the best use out of them. The Illegal Poison Kodachi is also a great infinite weapon to obtain. You'll only need to sell two million worth of stuff to Kamiyama to unlock it, but it costs 5 million yen.

I like Kiwami 2 a lot but dear God the color scheme is horrible to look at. None of the other games are this bad aesthetically.
